We had a great time at Catch (06-03-26). Highlights included the bok choy salad, crudo de catch, crispy rice, catch roll, lobster macaroni (which we thought was going to be lobster Mac n cheese, but was more of a lobster rigatoni), Chilean Sea bass and wagyu fried rice. Would have done all of it again except wagyu fried rice (Wagyu itself was not). Service and hospitality were great. Props to Ainsley our waitress.

Was there for dinner while niece having 21st bd there with about 12-14 girls. It was amazing .Daniel, the manager was accommodating and attentive. The food- incredible our waitress, Aki, after only working there for 1 week is quite honestly , the best waitress I ever had. I actually hugged her on the way out. The restaurant is beautiful. From the moment we walked in we were so very graciously greeted. Our server Sam was amazing very thorough and just a vibe. We love the new menu and will definitely be back.

Catch was an amazing restaurant and experience. We (party of 3) did not have a reservation, so we showed up at 5:30 right when it opens. They sat us down immediately! However, I would recommend getting a reservation if you cannot get to the restaurant right when it opens.<br><br>The cocktails were delicious ($20 each) and came out quickly. Everything was delicious and service was great. I would recommend the crispy rice with tuna and the miso seabass. Additionally, the fries were some of the best I ever had. There was a small time delay with the crispy rice but they were quick to take care of it and take it off the bill. Great atmosphere and I left the restaurant stuffed! 10/10 recommend!

Had such an amazing dinner at Catch Steak. The Crunchy Rice Cakes were the perfect start, the 4 oz A5 Wagyu completely melted in our mouths, and the wild-caught salmon was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The 6 oz miso glazed flat iron steak was easily one of our favorites of the night.<br><br>The atmosphere was upscale but still fun and comfortable — perfect for date night. Huge shoutout to our server and Dominic for making the experience even better with such attentive and genuine service. Can’t wait to come back❤️‍🔥

Came for my birthday after not having been in a few years. Use to be one of my favorite spots back in the day. Came back because I heard they changed the menu and added a few new things I wanted to try. The strawberry shortcake shaved ice dessert needs to be studied because that was the most delicious thing I ever had - it truly tastes just like the classic good humor ice cream bar. All the desserts were good but just saying that strawberry shortcake was the best of all the options. Sushi is all super fresh and honestly the staff is great. Crab was probably my favorite of everything I tried. Wish portions were better but given where you’re dining they overcharge for the quality vs other sushi / omakase spots. Would def come back again soon

Milli was an amazing server! She is the best and made the evening so fun!!! She gave a wonderful recommendation for the lobster pasta and it was very delicious!

Came back to @catch after our first visit about 2 years ago during NYC Restaurant Week, and after seeing so many recent videos about changes to the menu, I had high expectations this place did NOT disappoint. It completely exceeded them. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was top-tier, and the staff were incredibly attentive from start to finish. Everything flowed perfectly, from drinks to appetizers to mains. The timing of the food was spot on, and every single dish had me raving. Even the complimentary bread & butter was unforgettable seriously that good. Went here for my birthday. The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and the manager also stopped by to greet us. The sushi was amazing, and i got a special sushi plate on the house for my birthday.

Between the food and service at CATCH NYC, I don’t know what I like better. In 2021, I went to Catch for brunch and I was unimpressed. However, over the past two years, I went for dinner and I was in absolute heaven. The times Ive went, I had Christina as my waitress. I’m not sure if you can request a particular waiter, but if you can I would consistently pick Christina. She is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It obvious she truly cares about patrons. I’m scared to try another waiter at Catch, fearful that will not live up to the standard Christina set for me. Beyond the amazing customer service, the food at CATCH is phenomenal. While the menu changes sporadically, here are a few of my favorites: The lobster malfadine is to die for and the truffle pasta is just as tasty. My go to app is the truffle sashimi. Kudos to the mixologist at Catch…with drinks so good, there’s no way you can only get one. The one thing I would change is the visibility of the restaurant itself since it is often hard to see where to enter.

Oh my goodness, where do I start. I was in the city meeting up with a friend of mine who was visiting from Connecticut on the 11th. We decided to visit the Whitney where we decided to dine out afterwards. We stumbled upon Catch, right where they were opening their doors. We had everything from the Hellfire sushi, to the truffle sashimi, madai crudo, to the fries with all the sauces on the side and much more. Our server Mat took care of us, he was excellent and very knowledgeable, he gave great recommendations. Whenever our dishes would touch the table he’d be there to introduce them and go above and beyond with extra facts about the dish. FOH was very kind, the manager even stopped bye to say hello. Dealing with drinks, my friend had the detox cocktail that was light and refreshing while I had an espresso martini made to perfection. We ended our night with the GF cake that honestly became a guilty pleasure of mine. Will be back for more!

Did the Hits 1 with some supplements, overall a pretty good meal, I would say everything was an overall solid 7.5 for my personal ranking, but gets a 5 for the NYC Google maps rank. Everything was executed very well and there were surprisingly good dishes like the Lobster Mafaldine and most of the apps. The steak was done nicely, but I can't really rank it among some of the best I've had. The desserts in the tasting menu were just okay, but can't complain as I have had worse.<br><br>I can't say it's one of the best places in NYC, but it is certainly much better than what other reviews say. I feel like it is unjustly hated.

Great view and amazing roof deck for the summer. Food experience is not so good: $110 for a chef sushi plate (8 pieces) with average quality as well as the 6 oysters. Very disappointed. The service is slow and not efficient …. Long wait. Good for drinks on the roof deck outside in summer but not recommended for food.

First time dining here. Came for brunch. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our server Moe was great, very personable. Ordered wagyu surf and turf roll, eggs Benedict, and cinnamon swirl pancakes. Would come again.
