Cafe Fiorello delivered an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The service was polished, attentive, and welcoming, while the atmosphere felt upscale without being stuffy. The meatballs and calamari were solid starters, but the Rigatoni alla Vodka stole the show with great flavor and generous portions. The risotto and scallops were delicate, well executed, and delicious. The standout was the homemade garlic bread, which easily ranks among the best I’ve had. A perfect dinner spot near Lincoln Center.

Trying different places in the city walked by Cafe Florello. At first I thought it was it a tourist trap but I was ok let me try it. Me and my girl came in and started ordering and it was a disappointment for Italian food. Sauce really salty and no taste. We order apps and they garlic bread. The bread was dripping wet. Meatball no taste to them. So now that I knew the sauce was not good. I order the salmon, but it was a dissatisfaction completely. Left half of everything paid around 220.00 plus 20% tip cause is not the waiter’s fault, never coming back. When next door and got much better food.

From the outside you will never believe that the inside looks the way it does - 60s high end American-Italian place.
Their food is exceptional.
The vodka pizza was great. How on earth do they make such a thin pizza that can hold itself so well? That is one of their great enigmas.
The pasta was equally great and so as the antipasti. Try the arancini, the potatoes with truffle, the Brussel sprouts. All were great.
The restaurant is well maintained and is truly classic. What I loved the most was the name tags against each table where the regulars tend to sit.
Quite an iconic place that is worth a visit over and over again.

This is my go to place in nyc! No drama with reservations, great food and good atmosphere! When friends visit nyc I make sure to brung them here and everyone love it! I strongly recommend their cacio pepe fries, pizza and chocolate mousse. It’s also a great place for large groups

Enjoyed a lovely brunch with family here before catching a Broadway show. Beautiful food and excellent service. Loved the avocado toast with poached eggs and salad and the nostalgia of various guest names on each table. Such a special touch to honor guests’ loved ones.

Great spot for dinner before or after a show at Lincoln center. Portions are large, my party of 3 split a veal Parmesan, side spaghetti with tomato sauce, and a pizza and had some leftovers. Service wasn’t great, server did not check on us so we were not able to flag that we were missing an appetizer until our check came or order additional drinks. Nice classic nyc atmosphere and cozy booths, it doesn’t feel as big as it is.

Response from the owner

Hi, Claire. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!

Great location for Lincoln Center visitors. Love the old fashioned bar against the whole side wall. Drinks were good and food/service impeccable. Just crowded and kindof loud. Regardless of that ...make it a point to visit.

Just bumped in accidentally but we were so lucky to have dinner around 5 pm. Very nice and warm place. But rear tables were so close to each other. Feels like needing to feed someone sits next to you.
Very uncomfortable seating in the back.

Ordered sliced lamb over potato mash (plate is 52 $) and lasagna. Very delicious meals. No space at the stomach for some great desserts.

Would highly recommend this place.

This place is one of the best thin crust pizza and gelato spots I’ve ever been to! The pizzas were freshly made, and they were incredibly accommodating to vegetarian preferences. The old-school vibe adds to the charm.

Hi, Ragini. We are thrilled to learn that you had a positive experience with us!

It was the best lasagna and chocolate mousse we’ve ever had in our lives. Everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere was absolutely captivating with its historic character. If you’re in New York, this is definitely a restaurant you must visit and experience.

We had such a great experience with Jose as our server! The espresso martinis were absolutely delicious, and the antipasti platter was a standout — especially the stuffed peppers and roasted eggplant. We also loved the Cacio e Pepe with the fried artichoke… amazing.
Jose was incredibly attentive the entire time and made our early dinner feel so relaxed and enjoyable. The location is perfect — just a short walk to Lincoln Center. We were seated around 4:45 and lingered until about 6:30 before heading to the Nutcracker, and it couldn’t have been a better start to the evening. Highly recommend!

Having tickets to the Met, we decided to eat at Cafe Fiorello since it's right across the street giving us time to enjoy a meal and still get to the Met on time. Great choice, excellent food with amazing service.

Traveling with my partner and our sister, I ordered the Caprese Salad with chunks of tomato, burrata and a pesto sauce served with a few bread sticks. The tomatoes are fresh, the cheese quite good and a nice light meal.

My partner ordered the Cacio e Pepe which he just loved, the pasta was perfect, not too rich in flavor. Our sister ordered the Beet Salad with layers of beets, arugula, goat cheese and a light dressing. She loved the salad. We did order Garlic Bread for the table.

Desserts were fantastic with coffee.

Response from the owner

Hi, Jamie. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!

We had lunch sitting outside. It was nice but actually sitting inside was very nice setting. We had set lunch of cauliflower, chicken pillard, and gelato. My husband had salad, pizza, and gelato. My son had calamari, chicken parm, and mousse. The portions were so large that we could barely finished half of it. Tge food was delicious. Our sever was also very nice and friendly l. It really made the dinning experience here so great.
