A true Queens staple. Buccaneer Diner has been around for years, and it’s easy to see why. Friendly staff, fast service, good food, and generous portions every time. Being open 24/7 is a huge plus. It’s one of those neighborhood spots you can always count on.

Awesome! Had mother's day lunch and everything was great. Our waiter was soooo attentive I didnt have to ask anything. When ever i needed anything, he was already bringing what i needed. Great food as well ! All staff were awesome and customers too. (Meals for 4 $192.83)
Staying in NY for work and found this place. I'm from South Carolina and I have to say this place is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The atmosphere was great. Food was incredible! You can get a long Island ice tea with an omelet! Wild! I wish this place was next door to my house.

And the service? Friendly, warming, and inviting. Absolutely beyond my expectations.11/10. Come here anytime for a great experience.
We arrived from the airport at 3:38 AM and were pleasantly surprised to find a full menu available, a great variety of options, and alcohol service even at that hour. The customer service was outstanding especially William — the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better after a long flight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be visiting this place again whenever we come back to New York!
Amazing hamburgers🍔 seriously top notch quality. Everything was fresh and delicious. John and his team deliver excellent service. Highly recommend this place.
Ordered delivery at around 5 am.

Packing needs improvement, the hash brown was cold and inedible as it steamed in the bag making it soggy.

The crab eggs benidict was okay, lots of egg. I also ordered a blueberry muffin which was fine. As you can see they only add blueberries on the top of the muffin.

Overall, I recommend for fast service and tasty food. I did get sick eating the rest of the muffin later in the day, not sure why.
This diner is one of those true New York gems that never disappoints and keeps me coming back! The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the service makes you feel right at home. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or a late-night bite, it’s always a delicious experience— the omelettes are fluffy, the burgers are juicy, and the coffee keeps coming 🤗. You can’t go wrong with anything you decide to order!

The staff is friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed, and there’s a comforting “old-school diner” vibe that’s hard to find these days. You can tell they care about their customers ☺️

Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving classic diner comfort food done right. It’s a neighborhood staple for a reason!
had one of the most unpleasant and distressing experiences at this restaurant, all due to the behavior of the manager. This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately, it will be my last.
Upon entering, we were told to stand in a specific area to order, which we patiently did. When it was finally our turn, the manager called us over, but instead of offering a polite greeting or assistance, he immediately spoke to us with utter disgust. His tone was rude and condescending, and his words were even worse. He essentially gave us an ultimatum: "Order here or get out." There was no explanation, no customer service, just hostility.
What made it even worse was the way he addressed us—his attitude felt blatantly discriminatory, especially when he seemed visibly uncomfortable and dismissive because we were Spanish-speaking customers. It's shocking to encounter such blatant racism and disrespect from someone in a managerial role, especially at a place that's supposed to offer a welcoming experience.
I understand that businesses can have off days, but the blatant disrespect we experienced was inexcusable. I will never return to this establishment, and I encourage others to be wary of the treatment they might receive. No one should have to deal with that kind of behavior when simply trying to enjoy a meal.
It’s your typical diner. Ordered the lumberjack combo with chocolate chip pancakes instead of regular pancakes. The other person had the chicken Parmesan sandwich for drinks. We had coffee.

Food was great bacon was not undercooked, which is something I struggle with at diners. sandwich was decently seasoned fries were fresh.

Our server was great. He checked up on us enough to not be annoying, but also did not forget about us, which is a good balance.

There is a parking lot area, which obviously helps in Queens. I don’t know how many spots there are maybe 15 spots. There's outdoor seating as well with a cover so it’s not just in the sun.

so far so good next time I go back I will try salad. Definitely recommend.
This was an amazing place to go to before our flight. It's so close to LaGuardia - 6 minute ride. The food was out quick and HOT!! Our server was really good with checking on us. The outside area looked really nice, but we are inside. They make fresh muffins daily and I highly suggest getting a corn muffin. They grill it and it's so good - don't forget to take the wrapper off and definitely try it with grape jelly!
Big portions and great tasting food. Can be a bit difficult parking but there was a guy out there directing traffic. Service was good. Pancakes were great.
Great atmosphere and our server Tony was awesome and very attentive. The food definitely could have used a bit more seasoning and the waffle our friend ordered was hard. That may have been the way it is usually cooked. The pancakes are perfect. No flavored coffee creamers. And on a side note…tell the waiter if you are doing separate checks at the very beginning or else your table will be on a single check.
Delicious food was great portions. It’s pretty clear this diner has regulars. Service was very friendly and I’m glad I was able to stop by and try this place out. The avocado toast was amazing with everything on it being fresh including the salad.
One of the staples of the neighborhood and I've been coming for over 20 years. Massive portions at an affordable price, it's def the place you want to go for some comfort food. Parking might be a hassle as the lot isn't too big and will get full during the weekends. One of their claims to fame is their Monte Cristo; but beware that this is extremely filling and you might enter a food coma immediately after finishing.
Always fun to go to a old dinner. Endless options to cater everyone’s preference. Chicken wraps is delicious. Typical American dinner. This one has been here for more than 70 years. The bathroom floor tile is super fun! Love that antique tile.
