i honestly saw a dirty (not well washed) fork on my plate but i let it slide! the appetizers were honestly amazing! the drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste but i feel like that’s how they were supposed to be so i am not deducting points for the drinks! visually every dish was a 10/10, however i will mention that the food is not life changing! it is a good place to try out thai food if you’ve never tried it before 🤭 overall experience 8/10

Had an amazing dining experience at Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We loved the tropical vibe of the restaurant and the creative presentation of the drinks served in fruit shells.

We tried the Crab Rangoon and Sriracha Wings for appetizers, and both were flavorful and perfectly cooked. For the main dishes, the Ba Mee Gyo Moo Dang and Blue Crab and the Clay Pot Fried Rice were definitely standout dishes — highly recommended! We also enjoyed their Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee, which paired perfectly with the meal.

Another thing we loved is that the restaurant is dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to dine with your furry friend. 🐶

If you’re looking for a cozy, aesthetic, and delicious Thai-Japanese fusion restaurant in NYC, this place is definitely worth visiting!
If you’re looking for food that is gluten free, Vegan, and/or Halal, allow me to introduce BUA Thai Ramen & Robata Grill. Stepping into this effortlessly beautiful restaurant alone will put you in vacation mode. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and made our experience feel warm and personal.

Shortly after sitting down and choosing our drinks and appetizers, we saw two huge colorful fruits heading towards us, followed by two mouth-watering plates. Steamed Chicken Dumplings and the Rock Shrimp Lychee Salad are what we had for appetizers. The dumplings were perfectly delicate and packed with flavor, while the salad was vibrant, and had that perfect balance of sweet and savory with a refreshing twist of crunchy shrimps. The presentation of the drinks deserves an award. A Piña Colada served in a pineapple and an Organic Thai Mojito in a coconut. Yes, they tasted just as great as they look. The best part is that the bartenders have mastered both cocktails and mocktails, so there’s a sip for everyone.

For mains, the Clay Pot Fried Rice was rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying—the kind of dish you keep going back to even when you’re full. And the Phuket Thai Soup Ramen was bold, aromatic, and layered with flavor, which gave comfort and luxury at the same time. Just when we thought we couldn’t take another bite, our dessert arrived. The Mango Sticky Rice was sweet, textured and tangy. I just wish the rice grains were smaller, but wow! We will definitely be back. 🌸🥘🍲🥟🍹🌺
We had great time, all the dishes were pretty great and Huge portion! The thai iced tea is slushy and looks very fancy. I recommended mussels great portion and tasty. The chiang mai curry noodles was my favorite. Overall it's amazing atmosphere, great food, and we really enjoyed it
I had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. We started with the spicy tuna crispy rice, which was hands down my favorite—perfectly crispy with so much flavor. The crab rangoons were also amazing, super creamy with a nice crunch.
For mains, the pad see ew was cooked perfectly with great flavor and portion size. And the mango sticky rice to finish was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing.
The overall vibe, service, and food quality were all on point. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend if you’re in NYC!
Had a great time at Bua Thai!
Everything from the food down to the service was top tier.
I took my mom here for dinner on her birthday and all the dishes we ordered were accurately cooked the way they would be in Thailand.
Our favorites were the mango pokpok salad and crab rangoon for the appetizers, while for the mains, we absolutely went crazy for the crab fried rice and pad thai with crispy pork. I love the serving sizes and the ratio of crab to rice in the khao pad. It was also seasoned to perfection!
For dessert, the classic mango sticky rice hit the spot and transported us back to our Thailand days. Just the right balance of sweet and tangy.
Will definitely come back and have already told friends to give it a try. ☺️
Had such a great experience at Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill on the Upper East Side. The space is really cozy and perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends.

We started with the crab rangoon and veggie dumplings, both delicious and flavorful. For drinks we tried the Pomelo Mai Thai and Berry Margarita, which were refreshing and well balanced.

For mains we had the miso veggie ramen and pineapple fried rice with shrimp, and both were excellent. The pineapple fried rice especially had great flavor and generous portions.

We finished with mango sticky rice, which was the perfect dessert.

Also worth noting — they have a huge vegetarian menu, which makes it a great spot if you’re dining with friends who have different dietary preferences.

Overall everything from the food to the atmosphere was a 10/10. Definitely a great Thai spot on the Upper East Side.
Just came back from Thailand a few months ago. This place really hit the spot. The flavors were so good and had the right amount of spice. Good price for the city. Appetizers drinks, main course and dessert. Was still about 150ish and we had extra toppings in the ramen. Definitely recommended.
I ordered the Pomelo Mai Tai which was sweet and sour and strong enough for the price (it was a bit pricey tbh) and def all delicious!

For an app I got an Avacado and Eel roll, it was good. It came with 6 pieces and tasted like a good $12 roll.

Then I got the Soy Base Thai Ramen with Crispy Duck. That was good! I think it’s a 4ish/5 but if it was a little more soy and the broth was a lot warmer then wit would be a five.

The wait was a bit but reasonable for the amount of people ahead of us, and the service was really good. They ran a well oiled machine and were very attentive to our table.

Overall, I recommend making a reservation and not bringing a group bigger than 4 or five for the best result. But the food is certainly yummy!

Note: While I do hold these opinions the 5 star review did get our group free deserts, do with that as you will 🤝
I was so impressed with the wonderful food and service at Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill. The food was exceptional, and I absolutely loved how fresh and flavorful everything was.
Their Tropical Cocktails were excellent, and the presentation of the food and drinks were simply stunning!
The desert tasted divine, and the staff was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
The atmosphere was so aesthetic and romantic.
I highly recommend the Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp and the Clay Pot Fried Rice. I absolutely loved our drinks: Bua Sangria and the Pina Colada!
I had a wonderful time, and I’d love to come back soon.
Just went for valentines day and it was a beautiful experience. The ambience was perfect, and even with the holiday rush, we were able to order and recieve our food in an extremely timely manner, and the staff were amazing. If you're going to try anything, absolutely try the thai iced tea slushy. Their ramen was okay, but still on the better side, and the presentation was amazing.
This place has amazing cocktails and mocktails, served in real pineapples and coconuts, which is such a cute touch. The decor is absolutely adorable, and the food was incredible. Everything came out so quickly, yet tasted like it had been simmering all day. The service was outstanding too. Definitely a hidden gem on the Upper East Side and well worth checking out.

I was so amazed at how delicious the drinks were and how flavorful the entrees were. HIGHLY recommend trying the clay pot fried rice, i’m still thinking about it!

we got two appetizers, two entree, two drinks & 1 dessert!

appetizers- Chicken Curry Puffs (FAV) & Fried Chicken Dumplings 🥟

drinks- Pina Colada 🍍 & Melon Berry Satho 🍉(WOW)

entrees- Sweet chili salmon w/ Forbidden Brown Rice
& Clay Pot Fried Rice (I was amazed) 🍚

Dessert- Fried Chocolate ice cream 🍨
