Super fluffy and by far the best pancake I've had in a long time! I would recommend everyone to go here as it was fast service and well worth every bite.

What a fantastic find in the heart of Times Square! We stopped into Brooklyn Diner while in town to see *Oh Mary!* starring Maya Rudolph — absolutely hilarious and a total must-see — and the diner was the perfect complement to a great NYC night out.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken pot pie was pure comfort food perfection, the giant meatball was definitely shareable (and incredible), and both the matzo ball soup and bagel with salmon were classic diner favorites done exceptionally well. Add in excellent cocktails, and we were very happy diners.

What really stood out, though, was the warm and friendly service. In the middle of busy Times Square, Brooklyn Diner somehow manages to feel welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

If you’re heading to the theater district and want a fun, classic New York dining experience with great food and wonderful service, Brooklyn Diner is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the city!

We went here twice (for lunch and dinner) because the food & service were just way too good. The pastrami sandwich was the best one I’ve had in NYC, the bread was toasted and the meat was so juicy. The burgers were divine and the milkshakes + pies were very tasty.

I had the pancake with bacon sausage home fries and scrambled egg with cheese. The pancake was so nice and fluffy and you only get one cause it’s big. The bacon was nice and crispy not burnt the way i like it. The sausage was not my fav at all. The home fries was different what i usually have and they were okay. The egg was bland. The place is cute and right in Times Square so a good place for tourist. Overall it’s cool i would go again to try their burgers cause they look amazing and i love a good burger.

If nearby this is a must! Amazing hand made biscuits and all of our food tasted great. A little bit expensive but it is NYC. Locals love this and can be a little crowded so make a reservation or be prepared to wait 10-20 mins. It is a step into the past with the decor and staff are so friendly.

I and my travel partner visited the Brooklyn Diner @ Times Square in September 2025. We had the luck that it was not very busy there (it was on a tuesday, shortly after noon). We were shown to a table of our choice by the friendly server. As is customary in US restaurants, we were first offered a free carafe of fresh water. After ordering, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is perfectly acceptable and shows that the food is freshly prepared. And it tasted that way, too. We had a classic dish: a cheeseburger with fries/salat. The fries, in my opinion, were freshly cut potatoes, not mass-produced ones. And they were really deliciously seasoned and crispy! The burger was also fantastic. The patty had a great grilled flavor. As mentioned, the service was friendly without being intrusive. The server checked in with us once to make sure everything was alright and if we wanted dessert. All in all, based on my personal experience, I highly recommend this diner.

Stopped by Brooklyn Diner and it did not disappoint. I had the burger with a fried egg on top, and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy, flavorful, and that egg just took it to another level. You can tell they don’t cut corners on quality.

I also treated myself to a strawberry shake and a slice of chocolate cake. The shake was thick and fresh, and the chocolate cake was rich without being overly sweet. Definitely worth saving room for dessert.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall diner vibe makes it a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to relax. I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in the area.

Stopped into Brooklyn Diner and ordered the burger medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy, flavorful beef with a great sear, served on a soft brioche bun that held together well. The fries were crisp and hot, and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned.

What really stood out was getting this level of quality in such a busy, tourist heavy area. Brooklyn Diner delivers real comfort food done right, not just convenience. I would absolutely come back and would highly recommend it if you are nearby and want a proper burger.

Great diner experience! Ordered the Chicken Pot Pie which was huge and covered with a puff pastry. For dessert, it was the Coconut Cake. A SLAB, not a slender slice. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was great as well. What stood out the most was our server, who constantly refilled our coffee and kept us smiling with fun jokes. The place had a very warm and cozy atmosphere.

A nice diner localized near Times Square. The service was good, not outstanding, the the food was also OK. However, I have eaten in much better diners thst charged much less for the same deals (15 usd is definitely an overpriced buttermilk pancake). Nevertheless, the place itself is nice, very old school, and this made it comfortable.

Response from the owner

We visited spontaneously as we were famished. Right away I knew this was a good spot. The place was packed but they were able to accommodate us with a table for 2. Ashraf our server was knowledgeable and friendly. All round great food, and good atmosphere.

Response from the owner

Hi, Lashaun. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!
