I held my birthday at Brooklyn Crab - it was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly accommodating for a large group. Marta was helpful and kind throughout the process. Highly recommend! PS - great merchandise too!

The food was amazing. They had mini golf. I had so much fun playing with my friends. Their decorations are so nice. Some staff I would like to point out is Bri, Kevin, and Victor they were great, and the service was amazing. They also introduced their new TV. You could have an easy dinner with your friends here to taking a whole group to party with and it will still be perfect. I highly recommend.
4 stars only because the staff isn’t very friendly. Theyre sorta rude and unhelpful.

Other than that, i love the atmosphere and the food is very good. Definitely overpriced but it’s hard to get good cheap seafood in nyc.

The roof view is beautiful. You can see the statue of liberty
Our waiter was great. She was attentive, engaging, and honestly, besides the atmosphere, she was the best part of the experience at Brooklyn Crab.

Unfortunately, the food was the weakest part. The deviled eggs were bland, and the sweet sauce on top felt like an attempt to cover that up, but it didn’t really make sense or improve the flavor. The drinks were mediocre. I ordered a frozen margarita but received one that was served over ice instead.

The oysters were underwhelming as well. East Coast oysters are supposed to have that fresh, briny flavor, but these tasted flat. We also tried the octopus carpaccio, and the octopus had an oddly artificial taste.

For our entrée, we ordered the crab roll, which was just okay. They forgot my pickle and lemon, and THERE WAS A HAIR in my friend’s crab roll, so they had to remake it. I also did not love that it came with chips instead of a better side, especially given the price point.

Overall, I’d say come here for the scenery and the waterfront vibe, but skip the overpriced food.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cool! Went on a rainy cold day so it was fairly empty so it was nice and quiet. The Mac and cheese was great and the garlic shrimp had the best sauce ever! The food was so good I forgot to take a photo!
Hearken, good folk of the realm, to our tale of feasting at Brooklyn Crab. Verily, we—mere small maidens of humble stature yet great appetite—did venture forth and did partake in a most bountiful spread.
We didst order no modest fare: thirty oysters of the briny deep, ten shrimps most plump, a noble lobster roll, mac and cheese rich beyond reason, ahi tuna nachos of curious delight, two bowls of clam chowder warm as a hearth, and no fewer than six margaritas to gladden the spirit. Lo and behold, we did consume it all, leaving naught but empty shells and satisfied sighs.
Great praise we giveth, for the deal was most generous, and our hearts (and bellies) rejoiced in the abundance. Yet alas! Our revelry hath consequences. Our stomachs now protest mightily, burdened by the weight of our indulgence, and we do languish in the aftermath of our own gluttony.
Furthermore, tragedy hath struck: one fair sweatshirt was torn asunder in the course of our merriment—whether by festivity or fate, we know not.
Thus we declare: a feast most worthy and joyous, though not without its perils. Enter if thou art brave of appetite… but beware the reckoning that followeth.
After my son and I did a Nikon photo shoot in Red Hook, Bklyn we walked to the Brooklyn Crab Restaurant. Great seafood. I had the Shrimp Basket and a Vodka Moscow Mule and my son had Lobster Tail and a Virgin Pina Colada. It was a cold windy cloudy day. I'm quite sure this place is packed during the summer. Highly recommended NOTE: Public transportation B61 bus will take you near the restaurant.
This place was a date night for my husband and I. I mainly stick to a pescatarian diet. The food was amazing. I loved it. It was roughly an hour and a half before they closed. The young guy there really had the bar managed while grabbing food for the customers. He gave fantastic customer service. I sure will be coming back. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood. I think my husband and I found our new spot to eat! 🤩
Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook is nothing short of a gem. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by an atmosphere that perfectly blends rustic charm with vibrant coastal vibes. The decor is stunning both inside and out, featuring nautical elements that create a relaxed yet energetic ambiance. It's the kind of place you can enjoy for a casual lunch or a special evening out.

Now, let’s talk about the food—it's simply amazing! The seafood is incredibly fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. I highly recommend the crab dishes; they are cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The menu offers a variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Pair your meal with one of their creative cocktails or a cold beer, and you're in for a treat.

The service at Brooklyn Crab truly stands out. Michael and Zay were exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed.

Every aspect of our visit was fantastic, from the stunning views of the waterfront to the delicious food and impeccable service. I loved everything about this place, and I can't wait to return. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Brooklyn Crab is a must-visit destination that will leave you craving more!
It a vibe 👍🏽👍🏾👍🏾 Great views of the bay, great at sunset and you can always catch a game. Food is amazing head chef is very friendly and so it's the staff.
Definitely a vibes spot, with great views of the waterfront which make for a memorable sunset shot. Oysters are decent, and the lobster roll does the job although I’ve had better for sure. Good offering of cocktails and wines as well.
Finally got to visit this place after so many of my friends recommended this spot for years!!
We should have been here long time ago!!!
Great happy hour deals all week long great atmosphere and very friendly staffs!
We enjoyed it very much!
Nice breeze, free mini golf, but the food is mediocre at best. Mussels were not fresh, deviled eggs were the worst. Everything else was so so. We spent $240 total for 3 people (two adults, one kid). I will not be visiting again for the food. Maybe I'll stop by for drinks at night.
I wish I could give this place overall 5 stars because the waitress and atmosphere here are all great, however the food has declined so much it’s a HARD pass for me. The lobster rolls best feature is the buttery bread it’s served on.
By far the blandest seafood I’ve tasted. I’d rather drink seawater , I bet it would have more flavor than that.
Great place for drinks, pass on the food.
My partner and I went here on Valentine’s Day and got the three-course prix fixe. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and I definitely want to come back in the summer season. There are multiple outdoor spaces and almost all the windows open fully. The cocktails and the food we had were great and overall nothing was too expensive.
