As a tourist, I know Brookfield Place isn’t usually considered a must-see attraction, but I absolutely loved it. The complex itself is impressive and honestly blew my mind. The architecture, open spaces, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit even if you’re not there to shop.

One of my favorite parts was the stunning stained-glass-style art installation. From what I learned, it seems to be a temporary or rotating art display, with different artists creating new interventions over time. It adds a unique and vibrant touch to the space and makes each visit feel special.

A beautiful place to walk around, admire the architecture, and enjoy some unexpected art in the middle of the city. Highly recommended!

Spent the afternoon at Brookfield Place — one of the nicest spots in Lower Manhattan to just stroll, shop, and unwind by the Hudson.

Love that lululemon is here, and apparently Alo Yoga is opening soon too 👀 Perfect combo for activewear lovers. Then ended the day with classic NYC comfort food at P.J. Clarke’s — burgers, waterfront vibes, and that old-school New York atmosphere just hits different.
Are we really in New York !? Beautiful and gorgeous commercial center near the coast, with a beautiful view on the water ! Very luxurious, clean and well maintained. It has an air of Dubai or some exotic mall but right in the heart of the US ! Great place to walk around and enjoy the place and eat something !
Brookfield Place is one of those spots in Manhattan that pleasantly surprises you, especially if it’s your first time visiting. Located right across from the World Trade Center, it’s much more than just a shopping mall, it’s an experience in itself.

What stood out to me the most was the abundance of natural light flooding the space. The high glass ceilings, clean lines, and modern architecture create an open, airy atmosphere that feels both elegant and relaxing. Add in the waterfront views of the Hudson, and it becomes a perfect place to slow down for a moment in the middle of the city.

I didn’t come here with the intention of shopping, but rather to take in the space, walk around, and enjoy the design, and it absolutely delivered. It’s a great place to unwind, people-watch, or simply appreciate how well the space is put together.

Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to on future visits.
I loved this place! The building itself is magnificent, and the atrium during the day is just incredible—light everywhere, making it feel huge and airy. I got lucky with a really kind security guy who let me wander the hallways after the official closing time. No sitting down at night, but just walking around in the quiet space was amazing. Everything looks so different without the daytime crowds—the architecture feels more dramatic and the hallways almost cinematic. It’s one of those rare spots that’s impressive in daylight but even more memorable when it’s quiet and empty. Definitely a place I’d go back to, whether for the bright atrium during the day or to sneak in a peaceful nighttime stroll. Totally worth checking out if you love architecture and light-filled spaces.
This shopping center is pretty nice. It feels really high-end and comfortable to walk around. There’s even a beautiful atrium and food court here.

There are a couple downsides, however. There are only two bathrooms (that I could find) in the whole building. So, when one of them is closed off for cleaning, it can be stressful to find where to go. The other complaint I have is that the only shops here are extremely expensive. Don’t expect standard mall kind of stuff.
New favorite place to walk around indoors on cold winter days! There is so much natural lighting and tons of seating on both levels. I came here just to do some work and it was so nice. I walked around the whole place first and it's mostly higher end stores but they also have a really nice food court area with some delicious options. I'd recommend checking this place out to do some shopping, grab a bite to eat, or just people watch!
Nice, higher end shopping mall with a good selection of stores, services, and dining options. The winter garden is decorated nicely for the holidays and really does have 40 foot palm trees! This is an easy stop near the Oculous and 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
Beautiful mall within walking distance of multiple tourist spots in lower Manhattan. Rey close to the Brookfield Pier, which is a major hub for the ferry system, which is a very inexpensive way to commute around d and see the City from the water. The Mall has a nice food court and several nearby parks with playgrounds for the kids.
Because of CANstruction, learned about Brookfield Place more than a decade ago (at least). That time, there was no underground walkway to the Oculus bec the Oculus wasn't even built yet :) Now, it is so convenient to get to and from the subway and Path trains, without worrying about the weather outside.
Aside from shopping, food hall/restaurants, from inside Brookfield Place, can see nice views of outdoors and the river. Have taken photos of the cityscape, a distant view of the Statue of Liberty, the sunset on the river from the marina area. Lots of restrooms.
This shopping mall is almost a hidden gem around the World Trade Center and Battery Park. They have a variety of good shops including high end outfits like Louis Vuitton, amongst others. The place has spacious areas with seating too and you can walk around the area and enjoy the sights of the Hudson River. You can also access this via its connection to the Westfield WTC and its nearby train station stops.
A very beautiful shopping mall with luxury brands and food stores that offer relatively healthier options than fast food.
The mall is connected to the subway and the shopping center across the street through an underpass.
It has a very elegant entrance area with a high ceiling, giving it a distinctly European feel.
Brookfield Place is such a beautiful spot! The architecture is stunning, with wide open spaces, natural light, and amazing views by the waterfront. It feels both modern and relaxing at the same time.

The shopping options are excellent—lots of high-end stores, but also a good mix of places to browse and enjoy. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes inside too, making it easy to spend a whole afternoon here.

Overall, it’s not just a shopping center, but also a really nice place to walk around, relax, and enjoy the scenery. A must-visit in New York!
A peaceful and truly delightful place. During my visit, I had a small but meaningful experience that left me with a lasting impression. I found a cellphone left behind in the bathroom and, without hesitation, decided to deliver it to the security guard on duty. To my surprise, he was extremely kind, professional, and efficient in handling the situation. Only a short while later, he informed me that the phone had already been returned to its rightful owner, who was very grateful. That simple act of honesty and service created an atmosphere of trust and reinforced the sense of safety in the place.

Beyond that experience, what makes this location remarkable is the unique balance it offers between productivity and serenity. It is truly an exceptional environment to work remotely, combining the calm one needs for focus with the inspiration of its surroundings. I spent the afternoon there, enjoying a warm cup of coffee while holding a remote meeting, and I must admit the atmosphere elevated the entire experience. The sunset painted the sky with magical colors, and the view became almost poetic — a scene that felt both relaxing and deeply motivating at the same time.

After such a positive day, I made the decision to return more often. It is not just a place to work, but also a setting that nurtures creativity, gratitude, and inner peace
love this place and I enjoy it very much especially by the water my daughter used to dance ballet there many years ago every now and then I come back to this place it's so relaxing and enjoyable
