We showed up around 9am on a Monday and there were about 15 people waiting for their orders. There was no wait to order but once we ordered it took about 10 min to get our order. They have Delicious fresh bagels with almost any flavor of cream cheese you could want. I had the Poppy seed with Chipotle and scallion cream cheese. AMAZING. My brothers got the smoked salmon and there was no shortage of salmon on them. Let’s just say that. We checked bagels off the must try in NY and we were not disappointed at Broad Nosh.

It’s a bust place in the mornings because customers love their bagels and selection of cream cheeses.
My Asiago bagel was fresh and tasty, the cream cheese has great flavor and is whipped for a great texture.
The egg burrito, was meh, their specialty is bagels and toppings, so stick with that. 😊
As I said, it’s a busy place, so give them time to prepare your order to perfection, it’s worth the wait

One of the best bagel shops I got to eat at in the city!!

Unlike some other bagel shops, they have a huge selection of bagels to choose from, as well as so many menu options for the bagels' filling.

We came here for a quick breakfast on a weekday, and the place was working hard! There were a lot of costumers, either ordering a bagel to go, or sitting inside the shop, where they do have some tables (though the sitting time is limited for up to 30 minutes, understandably).

We had an eggs, bacon & cheese bagel with an everything bagel that was absolutely delicious, very freshly made, and one of the best (if not the best one of them all) everything bagel I ever had.
For the second bagel we wanted something a bit more unique, so we went for the jalapeno bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. Surprisingly it wasn't as spicy as I expected, but still it was very good and combined perfectly with the first bagel we ordered.

If you're looking for an amazing bagel experience, make sure to not miss out on this spot!!

Before a free kids show at the nearby Lincoln Center, my nine-year-old daughter and I walked into this popular bagel spot on a Friday around 10:30am. There was a line, but it moves fast. As you wait in line, read the signs to know your bagel order. They make bagel sandwiches or you can get bagels with one of their unique cream cheeses. My daughter loved the plain bagel with strawberry cream cheeses. The sesame bagel was great, but I didn’t love the raisins in the walnut cream cheeses. (I thought they were pieces of walnut rather than raisins.) The bagels come out toasted and very filling.

Definitely a place to try if you’re looking for a bagel in NYC! The pastries are so good! They have tons of different options for cream cheese (Trust you will get overwhelmed). There’s no way you can go wrong with the options here. Also, if Jamil is there know you’re going to enjoy your time!

Went to Broad Nosh Bagels and ordered the lox with cream cheese, onions, and capers on a cheddar jalapeño bagel — and this might be one of the best bagel combos I’ve had in the city.

The bagel itself was the star: perfectly toasted with a crisp exterior, soft inside, and just the right amount of cheddar and jalapeño baked into the crust for a savory, slightly spicy kick. The lox was fresh and silky, layered generously with cream cheese, sharp red onions, and capers that added the perfect salty bite.

Service was a little slow because the establishment was very busy but it’s worth the wait.

Everything was balanced, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. If you want a bagel that feels a little elevated but still classic New York, this is the move.

The bagel itself was incredibly soft and perfectly tender — the skin was so fluffy and fresh!

The smoked salmon was perfectly seasoned with amazing flavour, and paired with the cream cheese it was absolute perfection.

By far the best American-style bagel I’ve had in New York.

Generous portions, super fresh, and just delicious overall. Highly recommend if you’re in NYC!

Response from the owner

It was a pleasure having you in, Anson! We appreciate the kind words. My team and I enjoyed serving you today, and we can’t wait for you to come back and try more of our fresh menu.

We were there on Monday morning at 10:00 am and queue was a bit long. But service is fast enough, we had to wait for our order apx 10 mins only.

Bagel sandwiches were delicious. We chose bacon egg and cheese with sesame Bagel. Only thing; bagel bread could have been a little softer. Rest is perfect.

Shop is not too large, it is difdicult to find a seat easily, we stood and ate outside instead.

Hint: If you love salty/spicy please choose salt bagel.

Response from the owner

Thank you for the kind words, Kamil! We take a lot of pride in our craft, and it’s guests like you who keep us at the #1 spot on Google Maps.

I had a great experience here! I ordered the smoked salmon bagel with vegan cream cheese and latkes, everything was delicious. Even though there were a lot of people in line and I had to wait about 10 minutes, it was definitely worth it! ☺️ Great spot for a solid NYC breakfast.

Response from the owner

Thanks for the shoutout, Tomer! Our team works around the clock to make sure every guest feels at home. Glad we succeeded with your visit!

The lox was so tender. No stringy bits. Truly yummy. I found the bagel to be a little tough for my preference. Not a deal breaker though. It was a well built open faced lox and cream cheese bagel. Very good coffee. Nice atmosphere and bit a long wait. Very good service. It was fairly crowded but the food came quickly. Not many tables so don't plan on sitting unless you get there early.

Response from the owner

It was a pleasure serving you, EB! There’s nothing we love more than hearing that our guests had a world-class experience. We’ll have a fresh bagel waiting for your next visit!

A solid bagel spot with a huge lineup of spreads to go with their chewy, tasty bagels. I went for the scallion cream cheese lox bagel, and they absolutely loaded it up with smoked salmon, super satisfying and just really good all around.

The kids, of course zeroed in on the Oreo cream cheese. I tried to object… but eventually gave in. Can’t win them all. They said was good…

The place was packed, but the line moved fast and service was quick. Overall, a great way to kick off the day.

Response from the owner

We are so glad you stopped by, Edwin! Being rated the #1 bagel deli in NYC is a title we work hard to earn every single day, and knowing you enjoyed your visit makes it all worth it. See you again soon!

• Got the pastrami bagel. It was packed with meat, tender, and cooked nicely.
• Slightly underseasoned for my taste, so I added extra chili sauce, pepper, salt, and more mustard
• Pastrami was great if you’re a meat lover; I personally prefer one with more veggies (thought it would have a bit more)
• Bagel had a crunchy exterior with a chewy inside. I has really good texture.
• Staff were quick to take and serve orders; I just wish there was a bit more patience for customers who are still deciding
• Went there early around 8am Monday. It was already busy but no long lines.
• Definitely a must-try! Will be back to try one with cream cheese 🥯

Update in response to the owner’s question:
•Service during my visit wasn’t excellent. I asked the staff for a recommendation, but he seemed annoyed and only shrugged and pointed at the menu, which didn’t feel very welcoming. Because of that, I went ahead and ordered the pastrami.

The pastrami itself was good, but in my opinion not really ideal for an early-morning breakfast bagel, and it was a bit underseasoned for my taste.

That said, I’m still open to coming back to try other variations and hoping for a better overall experience next time.

Response from the owner

Amazing bagel spot and absolutely worth the wait. I’d recommend grabbing your bagels to go—the space is cozy and charming, but seating can be tough to snag with a line constantly out the door (and for good reason!).

I was honestly overwhelmed—in the best way—by the huge selection of bagels and loaded cream cheeses. I went with a jalapeño bagel paired with the bacon jalapeño cream cheese, and wow… it was to die for. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy without being overly filling—exactly how a bagel should be.

A true New York–style must-have. I’ll definitely be back. 🥯🔥

We waited an hour in line after the Macy's thanksgiving day parade and it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. The environment inside was fantastic and the staff was super efficient. They had a lot of great bagel and cream cheese flavors. The bacon scallion cream cheese with an asiago bagel was the best choice ever. Their coffee was really good and they made it fast as well.

Broad Nosh Bagels are so highly rated I had to get a breakfast sandwich - unfortunately it was a let down.

Lets start with the line, it took an hour at 10am on a Saturday from beginning to end. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese on the side. If you just get cream cheese or lox, it will be much faster.

The bagel itself was good, on the denser side. The eggs and bacon were very mediocre. There was not a lot of bacon and the eggs were overcooked. Lacked flavor. The cream cheese helped a bit.

I don’t think these bagels are worth the wait and would try a different spot next time.

Response from the owner

Ariana great to hear from you we apologize for your experience that is 100% not typical - we are known for our great service premium food quality st the very best prices. It was a pleasure to serve you and we look forward to your next by
Happy holidays
