I had heard broad nosh was the best bagels in midtown, and I can wholeheartedly confirm! The bagels are delicious- the perfect crunch on the outside and chew on the inside. The staff were friendly and helpful to our (many) questions.<br><br>We had the nosh special (fried egg, microgreens, scallion cream cheese on everything), a bacon egg and cheese on Asiago, and a plain cream cheese on a plain bagel.<br><br>When we come back (probably tomorrow, let’s be real), I want to try the apple pie cream cheese on the French toast bagel- sounds like a perfect sweet treat.

Response from the owner

Joy, you just made our whole morning shift! That Nosh Special is a personal favorite around here, and an Asiago bacon egg and cheese is a seriously solid choice. We love that you are already planning a return visit, and that apple pie cream cheese on the French toast bagel is going to deliver exactly the sweet treat you are hoping for. See you tomorrow!

If New York bagels are on your must-try list, then Broad Nosh Bagels is a spot worth adding to the itinerary. We stopped in on our last day in Manhattan for one final bagel run, and it did not disappoint. The shop has that classic fast-paced New York energy, with a huge selection of bagels, spreads, smoked fish, and specialty cream cheeses on display.<br><br>We ordered the Smoked Salmon Classic and the White Fish Filet Classic, both loaded with generous portions of fish and fresh toppings. The smoked salmon bagel delivered everything you'd expect from a great New York bagel—fresh salmon, creamy spread, and a perfectly chewy bagel. The standout, however, was the White Fish Filet Classic. The white fish salad was rich, smoky, and packed with flavor, making it one of the best bagel sandwiches we had during our trip.<br><br>The bagels themselves were fresh, soft on the inside, and had that signature New York chew on the outside. Service moved quickly despite the steady crowd, making it an easy stop whether you're grabbing breakfast or a quick lunch while exploring the city.<br><br>A great way to end our New York food adventure—excellent bagels, quality ingredients, and a true NYC deli experience. If you're a fan of smoked fish and classic bagel sandwiches, Broad Nosh Bagels is definitely worth a visit.

Response from the owner

Hassan, what a send-off to your New York trip! We are so glad the White Fish Filet Classic stole the show for you because that white fish salad is genuinely something special and it is always great to hear when a first-timer gets it. The Smoked Salmon Classic is a hard act to follow, but it sounds like both sandwiches did their job. Safe travels, and whenever you find yourself back in the city, you know where to find us.

TOURISTS TAKE!!! ——-> This is a fine bagel. Nothing super extraordinary. The bagel itself wasn’t super fresh it tasted like it was maybe a day old or so. They LOAD it up with cream cheese which is super nice, we actually took cream cheese off because it was a bit much but, better to take it off than not get enough. The price is actually pretty reasonable. The bagel was quite filling as well. Overall a good experience.

Response from the owner

Hi Billy, thanks for the generous rating! We always love seeing happy customers. Next time save time and order online https://broadnosh.com

I’m honestly so disappointed.<br><br>I ordered the pastrami sandwich expecting something worth the $21 price tag, and it absolutely was not. The slices of meat were HUGE and ridiculously thick, not in a generous, melt in your mouth way, but in an unbalanced, hard to enjoy way. On top of that, most of the pieces were heavily saturated with fat, which made the sandwich feel greasy and overwhelming instead of flavorful.<br><br>There was barely a squirt of mustard on the whole thing, and they gave me ONE single slice of mozzarella sitting on top of all that meat. Nothing in the middle, nothing at the bottom. Just one lonely slice. For $21? That’s wild.<br><br>For that price, I would have been much better off going to Katz and getting something actually worth the money.<br><br>To be fair, their bagels are actually really good. The texture is right, and the cream cheese is solid. I’ve never had an issue with that. But this pastrami sandwich was completely not worth it. I won’t be ordering it again.<br><br>I’ll stick to the bagels and cream cheese from now on.

We covered alot of area on our New York city trip. We stumbled into this fantastic shop. Plenty seating they moved the hungry customers through friendly and with quick efficiency. More importantly the bagels sandwiches were freshly made and delicious. I tried their plain bagel with blueberry cream cheese. AMAZING!!!

We really enjoyed our bagel sandwiches here and they have delicious coffee! We had quick and friendly service as well. We went twice on our trip. On Sunday morning there were no seats left so we ate outside. On Tuesday mid-morning it was super quiet and we had no issue finding an open table.

Response from the owner

Great spot for good bagels. I found the flavors to be very good and texture of the bagel was solid. I got The Mess and my partner got a bacon egg and cheese, with hot sauce. Both had good flavors and were pretty fast even though there was a decent line! We were able to find a seat though there is not a ton available. Staff were nice and efficient.

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your experience, Sean! My team and I look forward to your future visits and are honored to be your top choice among NYC's many bagel delis. We value your business and your feedback. Carpe Diem 2026! — Robert, Proud Partner

ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT:<br>This space is relatively wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp in the door threshold and into the dining/ordering space. The door is lightweight with a side pull handle. There are removeable chairs at the tables and bar. The line is pretty narrow with a narrow turning radius. The checkout counter is likely too high and far away to reach for most folks in wheelchairs or of shorter stature.<br><br>No allergen menus or information was readily available. I'm not sure if they'd be available on request.<br><br>The menu may be hard to read for some patrons as it is black text on blue writing far away overhead. It may also be hard to access for people who have difficulty scanning or have neglect on one side, like after a stroke.<br><br>Staff, please ensure that large print and braille menus are available, ideally with pictures as well. Please also ensure that allergens are known and clear.<br><br>For more accessibility reviews, or to leave your own, you can also use the RollMobility app. This is unsponsored. I'm just someone who cares about people having access to spaces and information.

Response from the owner

Food: 4.5/5<br>Service: 4.4/5<br>Value: 4.6/5<br><br>Went at around 9:30 on a Friday and there was about a 10 line wait to place the order and get the food so it was pretty efficient. Inside is a bit chaotic but the system works so no complaints. There isn’t a lot of space to sit down but it is possible. We ended up taking it’s to go<br><br>We got the jalapeño bagel with scallion chipotle cream cheese spread and it was delicious. A nice thick layer of cream cheese and two different hints of spiciness really tingled the lips in a cold New York morning. A great place to stop and grab a quick bite to eat!

Tried broad nosh on my trip to NYC and it was super delicious!!! A bit expensive as it was $20 for my lox bagel but we’re glad we tried it!! Because of its popularity it gets super busy, but the line moves fast! Not much space to sit though. Would love to try one of their unique cream cheeses next time I’m back!

Response from the owner

Cindy my team and I appreciated your kind thoughtful review and marvelous rating - it was our pleasure to serve you

I came here because I heard they had Gluten-Free bagels among their offerings. They did! Both plain (perfect for the sweet blueberry spread) and everything (for the savory types). Both had great chew and allowed me to enjoy one of the most essential parts of visiting NYC. I highly recommend the Broad Nosh special which is a toasted bagel with cream cheese, microgreens, two over medium eggs, and avocado, served open-faced. Amazing. Good price-point ( it was under 12 bucks and keeps me going most of the day!)<br><br>The staff members are fantastic, handling a steady stream of folks.<br><br>I stayed true to the Times Square location, but my buddy ate at another location and we both concluded that it's the best bagel shop we've tried.

Response from the owner

Kelly wow what a great thoughtfully kind passionate well written review! It valued guests like you that make broad nosh a very special bagel deli destination <br>We enjoyed having you as our guest

Great bagels, good fish selections. Staff was friendly enough but not overly outgoing. Service was quick. Coffee was just OK, not too hot and no refills on an expensive cup of coffee. I wasn't there for the coffee, so I returned the next day and just got the bagel. I returned a 3rd time to get bagels to take home... so go for the bagels

Response from the owner

Matt very disappointed you did not enjoy our coffee it’s a premium blend at the very best prices in nyc - our chai latte is a true classic neighborhood favorite <br><br>We enjoyed having you as our return guest and look forward to your many future visits Matt
