The tapas are sooo good. And staff is so kind. Food comes out quick too no matter how busy they are. Love!
Cute rustic tapas spot in the Village with exposed brick walls and a cozy vibe. Even being busy, service attentive, wait was short, a drinks were tasty ...perfect for a light bite. Would definitely visit again.
I came to this Boqueria location for a memorial dinner in honor of my mother. The staff didn’t know the dinner was for a special occasion and they were still outstanding. They were so accommodating and stopped by the table often to check on us. The food and atmosphere were amazing, as they are at every Boqueria location. My family were all very impressed and will be back.
Average experience. It’s a nice venue, a little tight and crowded. Food was average on both quality and taste. Subtracted a star because the pork was undercooked. They offered to cook it further but when we received it again, it was still undercooked.
We sat at the bar by the kitchen and had an unpleasant experience looking at all the trash that was on the floors where they cook the food. The pictures are from after it was “cleaned”. Prior to this, the trash was overflowing. If the kitchen is going to be this way, I would think they would cancel the seats where customers see this while they eat and wait for food…or have a cleaner set up for and open kitchen…I have sat at restaurants with open kitchen concepts in the past and this is the first time where not only did I want to cancel the food from seeing all the trash in the kitchen but also the first time I don’t want to go back and eat somewhere.
Stop by before the snow blizzard, great service and delicious food. My favorite is Gambas Al Ajillo. Do not miss the 48 months Jamon Iberico ham, so yummy🤤
I love Spanish cuisine and came here by myself.
Jeffery was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I ordered an Amaretto Sour, gambas, and croquettes — everything was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Highly recommended if you’re in SoHo!
Wonderfully attentive and the food was amazing! Our server was kind and made sure to check frequently. Would recommend
Stopped by here spontaneously after watching a documentary at the film forum. With no reservations and a busy looking dining room they were able to sit us at a comfortable table. The service throughout the dinner was great and the good delicious. We were there for happy hour so don't of the dishes were half off. We had the patatas bravas, zanahorias (these carrots have so much flavor this was one of the best tapas plates), croquetas de setas (3 pieces), gambas al ajillo(3 pieces of toast points, good flavor but would suggest to request more bread to use for the sauce), escalivada with anchovies, pallea de costilla (comes with the bone and a good amount of marrow)and of course red sangria. This was enough for the 4 of us to share, we left happy and full.
We love this location of Boqueria! More local, less touristy, excellent staff, so friendly and welcoming. The food is so good, so delicious. Happy hour has excellent options , great wine and awesome prices.
I was so impressed with Boqueria Soho. I was greeted by a very sweet host who sat me at a table even though I was dining alone. I had three waiters taking care me, one took my order, one served my drink and food and another checked up on me from time to time. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious! To drink I got the O Negative which was garnished with a beautiful slice of blood orange. I ordered three tapas: Pan con Tomate(similar to bruschetta), Croquetas Setas(mushroom croquettes with truffle aioli) and Gambas al Ajillo(shrimp grilled in garlic sauce). It was served with warm toast points. On top of all this another waiter came over to tell me how much he liked my haircut. Eating here was like getting a nice big hug! I can't wait to go back and share this place with a friend.
We didn't like the seafood paella. It was on a salty side, the clams and the mussels were not seasoned either. The atmosphere was pretty loud, was difficult to talk across the table. Our waiter was fine. No issues there.
My favorite Spanish tapas spot in NYC! The staff is always so attentive and polite; they truly know the menu and always recommend the best dishes. Don’t skip the bikini sandwich or the croquetas… absolutely worth it every time
Loved the dining experience at Boqueria! I was recently in Spain and missed the tapas atmosphere, so I was thrilled to come across this amazing restaurant while searching for authentic tapas. My friends and I ordered multiple dishes — croquetas de setas, tortilla española, and pimientos de padrón — and everything was absolutely amazing. Our server, Manuel, was very knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended that we try a new cheese on our charcuterie board! I’ll definitely be back.
