Why does a restaurant charge $25 for a glass of wine yet roll the chicken breast through a mill to make it 1/8 inch thick and dry and tasteless? Other NYC restaurants do the same. I’m sorry, but it is just lazy if you can’t make a juicy chicken breast. It is my third and last time here. I tried to enjoy the food because it is near my home, but it is not good.

We passed by this restaurant and was drawn to the wooden decor ceilings and open space. The toasted buns paired well with the jam. Fairly standard Italian pasta. The waiters were oddly slow for taking orders and handing out checks despite fairly limited customers. That said, the servers were very quick with the food and cheese/black pepper.
This is my kinda place! Feels like it was designed for men. The carbonara came in a big bowl and I devoured it all. The martinis 🍸 were excellent… and only $12 at happy hour. Meatballs and oysters great. Free bread (yum) comes with a cool container of olive oil and some tomato bruschetta. Happy hour lasts until closing so you’re not rushed. I’ll be back!
Made a reservation here for my best friends birthday and we were warmly welcomed by their staff! G was AMAZING! He wished my best friend a happy birthday and made sure we felt special all night! He gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate and toast to her birthday and checked on our table multiple times throughout the night. Our other server was also excellent!

We got the espresso martinis, meatballs and Brussels sprouts as an app, and the fettuccine bolognese and rigatoni pollo pozza and everything was excellent!

Would definitely recommend and will be back!
Absolutely great service and superb quality food. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated. The service and treatment by the staff was excellent, we were tended to and checked on consistently. We weren’t rushed even after we finished our meals. Beautiful restaurant and the energy was well. My husband booked this restaurant and it was an excellent choice. The food is fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to return and try other items on the menu,
This is a gem on Hells Kitchen. Great Bar and great food! I am a regular as I come and enjoy their lunch pre-fix ( while I work) and their new extended happy hour is a MUST. I came for some birthday drinks with my friends and the staff was amazing to us. Shout out to my special bartenders ( Michael and Elani) you rock!!!! And to my boy Gonzalo for always bringing a smile to my face :)
David at Bocca di Bacco delivered one of the best service experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive without being intrusive, professional but still warm and friendly. He clearly knows the menu well and made great recommendations that made the whole dinner experience better.

What really stood out was his attention to detail. Our table was always taken care of, drinks never sat empty for long, and he checked in at the perfect moments without interrupting the flow of the meal. That balance is hard to get right, and David handled it effortlessly.

You can tell he genuinely cares about the guest experience, not just going through the motions. Service like that makes a restaurant memorable. Bocca di Bacco is lucky to have him on the team.
Had a reservation and was sitting in our table within a few minutes. The staff were polite and attentive. Visited during NYC restaurant week on 1/31/26 they had a prix-fixe menu that offered an antipasti, entree and dessert which were all good portions and excellent flavors. The red bean soup was to die for specially on a cold winter night. The flavors exploded in my mouth. The bread bowl was perfect and the toasty bread gave it a nice balance. The Rigatoni vodka was delicious, creamy cooked to the right texture, had a spicy kick that I did not mind. The berry tart dessert with vanilla bean ice cream was light, smooth and not too sweet. Definitely will return again.
The atmosphere was nice, but the service was underwhelming. I waited about 10 minutes just to get napkins. The food was average, and the sauces in all the dishes lacked flavor and depth. Overall, it didn’t quite live up to expectations.
Came here for restaurant week to enjoy their 3 course pre fix and to celebrate a birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. I started off with the eggplant melanzane and I would come back just for that dish. For my second I ordered the chicken with potatoes in a pesto sauce very nice and juicy and the pesto was smooth didn’t overwhelm the rest of the dish. Dessert only had 2 options and based on my tables opinions of the two they could have been better. Our waiter David was very attentive and kept our table hydrated and full with bread when we asked for it. He was also nice enough to bring an extra dessert when he found out my sister had a black berry allergy. Overall it was an 8/10.
Amazing food, super authentic and so delicious. I also think the portions were amazing!! Simone was our waiter and he was so kind, could not have had a better experience thanks to Simone!
A very good place for a weekday lunch.

They offer a nice menu at $25 (from 12:00 to 4:00 PM), which includes a starter, a main course, and a dessert. I had tomatoes as a starter — very fresh and juicy — followed by carbonara, which was excellent. For dessert, I had tiramisu; the flavor was good, though the coffee taste was a bit too strong for me.

The waitresses were a bit too intense at times, but overall the service was fine.

I recommend it!
10/10 recommend! I came across this place when looking for some good Italian food after walking the High Line and it did NOT disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Definitely a nice lowkey spot to bring a date or a friend.
The service was EXCELLENT! This was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and I loved it. The food was so good, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara 10/10! It was also my birthday and they served me a cute cake and sang happy birthday to me. After we ate they gave us a free mango prosecco drink. The staff were very nice and served us like queens. This place was also very aesthetically pleasing and fancy.
We’ve caught quite a good deal here. 25$ for the 3 course lunch. Portions, however, are not so big. But everything tastes great.
