Blend on the Water

I've visited this restaurant several times and have always had great experiences. The food, service, music, and overall atmosphere are usually excellent.<br><br>Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The temperature inside the restaurant was extremely uncomfortable and ended up overshadowing everything else the place has to offer. It was a special occasion, and neither my guests nor I were able to enjoy it the way we had hoped.<br>A restaurant of this caliber should have an air conditioning system capable of maintaining a comfortable environment during these temperatures. It's a shame because everything else was great, but the indoor temperature had a significant impact on the overall experience. I might consider returning during a cooler season.

The atmosphere in this place was so nice. I love atmospheres that is mainly dark with a little light when im having dinner with my partner it makes it more intimate. The service was good and the food was great loved that they mixed the mash potatoes with cilantro i believe.

Beautiful waterfront location with stunning skyline views near the Queensboro Bridge, but the experience falls short overall. Service is SO slow and inattentive, there’s an automatic 18% gratuity, small tables, and under-seasoned food. While the atmosphere is a 5/5, the food and service have declined compared to a few years ago.

Blend has outdone themselves with our reservation! We booked for our anniversary and couldn’t be happier with our dining experience. The dessert sparkle was a huge surprise done by the restaurant without request!! We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed. The food was amazing, drinks were great! The service was amazing. Definitely romantic atmosphere and if this place couldn’t already be so amazing they now have a photographer to capture our memories. 10/10 rating thank you so much and we plan to celebrate more special occasions with you! 💕

Came here for my friends Bday and the place is really pretty. The food was OK and nothing to write home about. priced decent. I had the Salmon with asparagus and some green mashed potatoes. Asparagus was charged and the pineapple sauce was way sweet and tangy. I didn't finish it. and looking at the pictures in these reviews I didn't even get a flower on my dish.<br><br>The whole bill came up to $250 plus $50 gratuity, and an additional $10 cash tip.<br><br>ITS PET FRIENDLY- which is really crazy being its a restaurant and I don't think pets should be there.<br><br>our server kept asking if we needed anything else even though we are working on food, eating and drinking. Felt like we were being rushed.<br><br>SERVER DIDNT WASH HER HANDS- (Not ours)<br>I went to use the restroom and was washing my hands when one of the servers came out of the toilet stool and did not wash her hands. She walked pass me like it was a normal thing for her and didn't budge even though someone was there.<br><br>I would come here for the view drinks and appetizers only.

Great atmosphere and overall a pleasant experience. The salmon portion was okay. Customer service was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement to elevate the experience. Anyways, Valentina was the best.

went here for brunch and its absolutely amazing!! Very kids friendly and all the food that we ordered are all so good. beutiful ambiance and views! we will ansolutely come back when we come visit nyc again!

I celebrated my birthday at Blend on the Water. My daughter, my friends, and I had an amazing time! I was pleased with the staff’s exceptional service to my guests. They were courteous, attentive, and everyone truly appreciated their outstanding service provided at Blend on the Water. Many of my guests were extremely satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views of the East River and The Manhattan Skyline. In addition to the restaurant’s wonderful amenities, the scrumptious food was excellent and well received by all. I want to thank everyone they did to ensure such a fun and enjoyable celebration. Their efforts truly made the day special.

Do not come here on Valentine’s Day ever! Huge scam, I understand it’s a busy day, but it was just horrible. I paid extra $20 in advance to have a “ box of chocolates “ and all we got was 3 chocolate in a tiny hand sized heart shape box. Then the wait to sit down took forever which I get it it’s valentines so it’s super busy. We waited 2 hours for our food mind you it’s a prefix menu which did not have no prices. I booked my reservation way in advance so there was no mention of how expensive it was going to be. We paid $190 only for 2 churrasco which is originally $37. Small portion of rice and the steak was not good whatsoever. The appetizer for the prefix menu was so tiny. Otherwise blend is a good restaurant just not on Valentine’s Day. Our server was the best super nice and attentive. However, Super disappointed I will not be returning.

They all were so sweet, helpful, thoughtful, and professional!<br>The event planner I hired and the staff made my vision come to life. My fiancée and I will never forget our time here. The food and drinks were excellent. Thank you guys! This service was a dream.

The bar menu is perfect for a quick bite from 11am - 7pm with their Mon - Fri specials always made quick, delicious and fair prices!<br><br>Chicken empanadas were good, flavorful and baked, not fried.<br>Wings were cooked to a perfect crisp (2 wings cut into 4 pieces) glazed with a sweet teriyaki sauce like, really delicious<br>Hamburguesita is a mini burger, the burger is cooked delicious and not dried, lettuce and tomatoes with a side of fries.<br>The chicken tostaditas are 3 mini tostadas topped with chicken made from chicken stew with onion, cilantro and sour cream, delicious!<br><br>You cant go wrong with anything on the menu

We came here as a follow up to a bad birthday experience at a different restaurant-we had been to Blend on the Water before and wanted to try something new… but we should’ve went with Blend first because they just really know what they’re doing in the food service industry. When we arrived the hostess led us to a table I was not particularly pleased with and when I requested a new accommodation it was given to us no issue. Once we sat down we were taken care of by a really attentive and diligent waitress. We didn’t get her name, but she is noticeably a beautiful woman! I requested a medium-well Filet mignon but unfortunately it came back overcooked. She immediately rectified the dish by having a new one made and compd for the inconvenience. I really did not expect that much but I felt truly regarded as a customer. She took care of us for the rest of night making sure we didn’t need anything, and when my birthday cake came we shared a slice with her because she was the reason the second attempt at my birthday celebration was a success 🎂🥹🎈. I was also given a tasty cocktail on the house for my birthday and for the wait on my dinner… and I really felt special. My husband and I were very satisfied and pleased with our experience. Thank you! (My cake was from a different place-Black Forest Cake from Fay-Da Bakery) 🤎🍫

Really an amazing place, took wifey here for her Birthday 🎂, they brought cake and sang, atmosphere is really nice, sorta relaxing with darkened dining, and low lighting. Food was perfect, well seasoned and really portrayed well. Drinks were delicious, although alcohol 🍸 content could of been higher. Steak was cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth flavor, rice and beans delicious, shrimp 🍤 really enjoyed, really, I have no complaints.<br>Definitely recommend this place, views are amazing as well.

Went here for a Friendsgiving brunch. First time here and it did not disapoint. The staff were helpful and accommodating since I use a motorized chair. I wanted to sit in a regular seat and sat in a booth. Had a Pina Colada while we waited for friends along with a Coquito shot (If you know Coquito, you know). I make my own but theirs is delicious. I liked it so much, I bought 2 and got one free.<br><br>The guacamole was one of the best Ive had and the ceviche was perfect. I opted for the Thanksgiving special (Blendsgiving) and the turkey breast was juicy, not the typical dry meat, you'd expect. Had a Sangria and it was good too.<br>The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and the music was on point (Marc Anthony, Elvis Crespo, etc). Took leftovers home but bought a Curascho and eggs for my daughter and a Mofongo for tomorrow. Update: the mofongo was good too 😊<br>We got a complimentary dessert of flan, tres leches, lava cake and vanilla ice cream with a sparkle candle. It was a nice way to spend Thsnksgiving.<br><br>I will definitely come again....Wepa. 🇵🇷❤️

My recent visit to Blend on the Ocean was somewhat disappointing, especially given the restaurant’s reputation and the fact that it wasn’t very busy at the time. Despite the low crowd, the wait for our food was unusually long. I noticed several tables that were seated after us receiving their meals well before ours. The staff appeared somewhat indifferent to the delay, which made the experience more frustrating.<br><br>When I brought this to the manager’s attention, he was courteous, checked on our order, and offered a discount, which I appreciated. However, when the food finally arrived, it didn’t live up to expectations. The chicken was dry, as if it had been reheated with fresh cheese added on top. The plantains were the highlight of the meal—well-cooked and flavorful—while the rice was just average.<br><br>Overall, while the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and potential, the service and food quality on this visit fell short of expectations. I hope my experience was an isolated one, as the location and concept deserve better consistency and care.
