I have been coming to Becco for probably 10 years, one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC. I would never miss coming here on my trips to NYC, but I didn’t make it here on my last couple of trips. It is always completely packed for dinner both after matinees & before evening Broadway shows. It’s is on Restaurant Row in the heart of the theater district, so I thought I would come for lunch this time instead since I was by myself this time, and I could just sit at the bar. I had the whole bar side of the restaurant to myself! Perfect spot to relax and have some delicious food before going to a matinee. I ordered two appetizers instead of an entree. Both were spectacular. I had the COZZE ALLA TRIESTINA (Mussels in white wine, garlic, green beans, onions & scallions topped with savory breadcrumbs (available in spicy red sauce) and LIDIA'S GAMBERI(Crispy baked shrimp with Lidia’s spicy tomato sauce). Both were spectacular and their introductory bread basket & olives were delicious as well. Still on top!!

Becco gave us a higher end Olive Garden vibe. We had the unlimited pasta option, and the Galleto al Forno, which was the juiciest chicken I’ve ever had. The pastas were really good, and the starter hummus with bread they gave us was super good as well. It is a tighter space, but highly recommend for a dinner.
Delicious pasta! Three rotating options which are unlimited. Highly recommend making a reservation because it gets busy even early.
Our family considers Becco our favorite restaurant. Not only for the excellent food selection and the Sinfonia, but for the atmosphere and to see our favorite chef, William.

The antipasto miso is a must have for our oldest daughter and the caesar salad it the best I've ever had. The burrata is always our go-to appetizer. We leave feeling full, content and looking forward to our next visit. We actually sat upstairs in a room we hadn't been in before and I was obsessed with the art installation on the wall! How cool!

Looking forward to seeing William (my Elvis!) again in the Spring!
It was good, just nothing exceptional. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the calamari and Caesar salad was very tasty. The brussel sprouts under the salmon were mushy. The pumpkin soup needed salt and the baked pumpkin chips they give on the side turned mushy after a minute. It was the holiday season so very crowded, very busy. The server was meh. The vibe was, he would have been much happier if I had been spending $100 more which is funny because he forgot to bring the wine. At least it wasn't on the bill.
A bit pricey but good.. also good atmosphere..we sat upstairs..I had NY Strip with mushrooms and fries which was enjoyable. Calamari appetizer was very good as well.. also large choice of bottled wine for $45 flat, which is not too bad for NYC
Had the most amazing dinner, felt like we were back in Italy. Service is excellent and prompt. Our waiter was superb. Not to mention the food! Veal piccata, chicken Parm, and incredible pastas !!! If you are in NYC go hungry and enjoy! This classic old school recipes that do not disappoint!
Amazing restaurant. Called to reserve two hours before and they were able to accommodate us. Great service, great food!! Love the all you can eat pasta!! It’s $36.95 for a caesar salad or vegetables, and all you can eat 3 types of pastas!!! Definitely will go back!! Delicious!!
Was kind of a crappy experience. The when we arrive for us for our reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes past when it was scheduled for it to be seated. Had to wait in crowded bar area didn’t even try to order a drink. Waiter was rude and cocktail wasn’t great.

The highlight of the night was the gentleman greeting us as we’d arrived…his fru fru / no nonsense attitude intrigued me wondering aloud how he navigated the world - from paying the water bill to changing lightbulbs - his life must be interesting and full of drama I can barely let myself dream about.
The food was just ok. Nothing special. The 3 pasta special included clams, which were hard and cold. The focaccia was rock solid. They did so a nice birthday song with a scoop of ice cream for my husband which was nice. Some guy, not our server, snatched the card from my husband hand. Not cool
Wonderful, authentic experience. Food was great! I was there with my coworkers after a conference. We had enough space for 15 at our long table and the room was quiet enough for us all to talk. Definitely a place to come back too if opportunity comes up.
Excellent food. Fast service. Be sure to have a reservation. Calamari was excellent and so was every other dish we had. Servers were personable. Service was very fast we were in and out in an about an hour.
Becco is always excellent. I've taken many out of town guests for lunch or dinner but my husband had never visited. We went for lunch and had calamari, lasagna, branzino and tiramisu.
What a find! As someone who travels and eats all over the world, it’s hard to find a restaurant that can sing all the notes. The service, ambiance, and of course the food has to be good. At the same time the price point has to be commensurate to the experience. Becco hits all the notes. Their unique spin on their 3 pasta dishes we found unique and fun. The food all was delicious and priced to make you feel you were having a treat but not needing to take out a home equity loan to cover it. We had three courses, (meatball starter, hanger steak, veal picante, and chicken parm, with the three pasta special, and brownie with ice cream to finish). Add in the wine and drinks and we found everything delightful. I’m not sure when I will be back in NYC but when I am, I plan to return to Becco.
Absolute perfection!! Was a Bucket List Restaurant since Lidia Bastianich is one of my idol chefs. Everything was delicious. The only ding in service was that Google said they were open when I got there at 330pm, but apparently everyone was on a break until 4pm and the hostess was a tad snippy about it? Yet they keep the doors open? Then at 4pm, they shuffled everyone into a small space of the bar area to be seated. Otherwise it was an absolute dream!!!!
