Cool rooftop pool and aufguss (guided sauna session). The cold plunge is FRIGID, will kickstart your entire circulatory system. Worth the trip during the week when pricing on entry is more reasonable.

My girlfriend was itching for a spa day and since we had such a good experience at the flatiron location on Valentines Day we thought to check out the Williamsburg one. We got day passes for the 10 pm slot for 2/27/26. What a mistake that was. Checking in was no problem. The locker room was extremely cramped and not well maintained for neither the men and women’s side based on what we saw. One of the workers basically harassed my girlfriend making her feel uncomfortable. They pick and choose who they want to enforce the rules with. We got separated after changing and we were a bit confused on the layout. So she went back in her locker to get her phone to text me. Immediately she was told to put her phone away but she kindly explained what was going on. The worker in a black skull cap, black hoodie, and painted toenails proceeds to just stare at her and tells her I’m not leaving till you put it away. Meanwhile a group of 3 women are having a whole photo shoot behind him and he says nothing to them but wants to badger my girlfriend. Then walking around the space the place is poorly maintained. There was a used bandage with blood on it on the floor and no one ever came to clean it., Compared to the flatiron location, this place is a joke and pales in comparison. We will not be returning to subpar standards. And whoever the manager is of that location, the guy who thinks it’s okay to stare and tower over a woman when she doesn’t do what you say needs to be fired. Instead of offering to help her, you made her uncomfortable. You shouldn’t work in a place like that and your mother would be ashamed of you. And whoever does the hiring needs to choose better candidates
First time at this location and I had a great time. It was a little crowded but thats to be expected on a Saturday evening/night. I enjoy myself regardless
We enjoyed the Flatiron location so much that we decided to try this one a few days later. I would honestly choose this location over Flatiron due to the "type" of people, meaning: Manhattan has the loud tourists, right? Main character types in a the shared spaces. Brooklyn has the people who live here, the "locals" who have a little bit more social awareness. Pools, saunas and steam rooms in both locations were spectacular. Hot to cold to hot to cold. Very nice. Highly recommend for anyone at any time.
Its a vibe. Plenty of pools and saunas. Hot to cold, you have options. Locker room area is roomy and comfortable. Lotions, shampoos, towels readily available. The strategically placed clocks keep you aware of the time but allow you to fully experience everything as well. The heated roof top pool IS A MUST, yes; even if its snowing. That moment was picturesque and surreal. Highly recommend 👌🏽
This was my first time at Williamsburg Bathhouse, I had a wonderful time and felt very relaxed. Absolutely all the staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. The changing rooms and the entire area are very clean. The rooftop pool and the view are stunningly beautiful!
There weren't too many people, and there was enough space for everyone. All the visitors were respectful to each other. I didn't see anything negative that I had read in some of the reviews.
Every 1.5 hours there's an Aufguss ceremony in one of the saunas where aromatic oils are used, and it was like magic; this affected me so emotionally that I cried. Don't know the name of the girl who performed it on Tue, Jan 20th in the afternoon, but if she reads my comment, I want her to know that she is simply amazing!
Overall, my partner and I truly loved this place. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the experience itself was wonderful and relaxing. For the majority of the day, everything felt perfect. Unfortunately, as we were leaving around 6:30 PM, we had an unpleasant interaction at the front desk due to an issue with my partner’s wristband. The front desk attendant a short female with short light brown hair asked if we wanted to leave a tip. When my partner politely declined, her attitude noticeably changed. She questioned our decision, rolled her eyes, and spoke to us in a rude and dismissive manner. We calmly explained that the cost of the experience was already quite high (nearly $400 for entry plus about $130 spent on food), and we assumed staff were fairly compensated. What was most upsetting was not being asked about a tip, but the unprofessional reaction afterward. As someone with serving experience, I strongly believe guests should never be treated with disrespect based on tipping decisions. This behavior unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise amazing visit. I truly enjoyed this establishment and would love to return, but I hope management is made aware of this situation so it can be addressed. Guests come here for a peaceful experience, and this interaction took away from that.
Amazing experience at Bathhouse Williamsburg! Everything was perfect—the staff is professional, friendly, and very attentive. The spa is extremely clean, and they have everything you need for a relaxing visit. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommend!
I visited for my birthday and had a great experience overall. The facility is spacious and well-maintained; even on a busy holiday, it never felt overcrowded.

The Positives:

Exceptional Staff: The front desk was very welcoming, and the women’s locker room attendant was incredible—she worked tirelessly to keep the space spotless and fully stocked. Seriously, give her a promotion or pay-increase!

Amenities: The salt sauna ceremony was a highlight!

Pro-Tip: Bring a refillable water jug to stay hydrated.

Areas for Improvement:
The Café: Small space, not accomodating for crowded/busy days. Service was unfortunately disorganized and slow. One of our orders never arrived, and the woman's attitude was very rude and unprofessional when we followed up. While the manager did their best to make it right, the initial experience was frustrating.

Pools: A more frequent skimming of the pools for stray hair would be a welcome addition.

Verdict: I would absolutely return and recommend this spot to others—I’ll just plan to eat elsewhere next time!
I've been here with a friend for the first time and we both loved it. The staff was very nice and helpful from the time you check in to the time you leave. It's a great place to go relax and recharge. And with the hot pool (winter time) with a beautiful view of Manhattan it's amazing. Will definitely recommend.
An amazing spa experience in the heart of Brooklyn!

The Bathhouse in Brooklyn is simply outstanding — a real urban oasis! Everything is designed to perfection, from the sleek atmosphere to the relaxing vibes that make you forget you’re in the middle of the city.

The steam rooms and saunas are set at perfect temperatures, offering the ideal balance between heat and comfort. The pools are stunning, spotless, and incredibly relaxing — a true pleasure after a long day of walking around NYC.

What really impressed me were the premium self-care products available in the showers — top quality and with amazing scents. Every detail feels carefully curated to create a first-class wellness experience.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and treat yourself, Bathhouse Brooklyn is an absolute must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
I’ve been here a few times now and have always enjoyed coming here. This was my first time being back since they added the rooftop pool and additional baths.

This was my second time dining in the cafe. This time there was an automatic 20% gratuity included. This is after paying at the counter, $17 for 4 wings, getting my own water, and getting the hot sauce that the staff member said “you can go grab yourself”. Other than cook the chicken myself, I did most of the work but was charged a mandatory 20% tip. It ended up being over $5/wing. Definitely recommend eating beforehand. I understand the automated tip at the rooftop bar where they are serving you.
I went to the bathhouse at 9:30 AM for the weekday morning session. We were the fourth group to arrive on the rooftop, so it was easy to grab free bean bag chairs. The city view was beautiful, quiet, clean, and relaxing. The staff were friendly too.

Unfortunately, there weren’t many free chairs near the pool (though all the couches in the back were available).

There were lots of sauna options and baths with different temperatures. I tried the Aufguss sauna ritual for the first time and really enjoyed it. I liked how they waved the towel to circulate the hot air.

The restaurant’s food and coffee were great—delicious! I highly recommend it.

We ended up staying from 9:30 to 3:00. I’ll definitely go back on a weekday—it wasn’t crowded at all.

Love to see it! Glad to hear you enjoyed the thermal pools and our daily Aufguss ceremonies🔥 Thanks for the stellar review and hope to host you again soon!
Very cool place in a very cool neighborhood. The rooftop pool is a nice addition. We really enjoyed our visit. It wasn’t extremely crowded or noisy in my opinion. I was a little disappointed with the amount of PDA in some of the areas. The rules weren’t being enforced but honestly people should just know not to behave that way in a public place. I was told by other guests that if you visit in the morning or afternoon it isn’t as busy and people are more respectful.

Hi Kevin! Thanks for the feed back and the amazing review. We really appreciate it and hope that you come sweat with us again!
Arrived early at 9am, was one of the first one on the roof so I got a spot by the pool (bean bag). I had a lovely quiet morning ready my book and admiring the view. No music, people were quiet and respectful. At 12pm I retreated inside to enjoy the rest of the amenities: cold plunges, hot pools, infrared sauna, steam room, tropical sauna…
I explored everything they had to offer for another hour or so. In total I was here from 9am to 1:30pm on a Sunday of a holiday weekend and it wasn’t too crowded. I had a great time, I highly recommend and will be back. (I didn’t have any food or drinks so I can’t comment on that - there are a bunch of water dispensers throughout the facilities and you can bring your own water bottle to refill)
