Bathhouse is small, but it truly has everything you need for a relaxing reset. I’d highly recommend going on a weekday if you can—it gets busy, and it’s much more enjoyable when it’s quieter.

I went solo and absolutely loved it, but it would also be a great spot for a girls’ spa day. I also had a massage with Andrew and he was amazing—he knew exactly what he was doing and worked out all my knots like magic. I left feeling completely reset 🧖🏻♀️

Overall, so worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

Loved the space and had fun exploring the different amenities! Felt like it had everything I needed and felt clean. Definitely a yappy social space rather than a relaxing one so just know before you go!
This place felt so magical. It’s a great place for a solo spa day (like I had) or a social hang.

I’ve been so so many spas and this place imo was a 10/10.

The experience is curated so that all you need is your bracelet. It’s clean, huge, and comfortable.

Things they offer:
Delicious dishes, drinks, alcohol

private massages, scrubs, 4 different saunas, steam room, 2 cold plunges, salt pools, heated pools.
They also do fun small group “experiences” at the sound of the gong, led by an instructor - where they help you experience the amenities

I found it super helpful, esp. when going solo.

Mikael was sooo fun. Highly recommend a guided experience with him.
I’m someone who genuinely loves bathhouses and will plan a spa day whenever I get the chance. I’ve visited Bathhouse Flatiron multiple times and have always had positive experiences—until today.

In the designated quiet lounge area, I found used tissues both on the couches and scattered on the floor, which was pretty disappointing from a cleanliness standpoint. More concerning, in the locker room (where phones are strictly not permitted), I saw another patron taking photos in the mirror near the showers as I was leaving. It happened quickly, and by the time I alerted a staff member, the person was gone. I can only hope I wasn’t captured in the background.

There’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to hygiene protocols. The neutral pool—being the largest—fills up quickly, and since there’s no enforced requirement for patrons to shower before entering, there was a noticeable film on the water that I ended up scrubbing off myself.

That said, it wasn’t entirely negative. The staff were kind and did their best to address the situation, especially regarding the phone incident. I don’t fault them individually, but rather the lack of clear, enforced protocols around both hygiene and safety. Having staff consistently present in locker rooms to reinforce the no-phone policy, along with stronger cleanliness expectations for guests, would make a big difference.

Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially given how much I’ve enjoyed coming here in the past.
Definitely took more but this spot is a 10/10 my massage was really good along with the Hammam Scrub. I enjoyed the food & drinks. They have margaritas & cocktails along with a variety of other drinks in the cafe. This was my first time here. I was there from 11am to 4pm 😆 I definitely will be back 🫶🏽🥰✨
I’ve been to almost every spa in New York City, but I always find myself coming back to Bathhouse. It’s not just because the pricing is reasonable, it’s the people who truly make the experience stand out.
This was proven last Saturday. I had booked a treatment for 3:00 PM, but I really needed to leave before then. I explained my situation to Julia at the front desk, and she went above and beyond to help me get my appointment moved earlier. She did everything she could to make it work, and she was so kind and patient throughout the entire process. I’ve worked in customer service for years, so I know what exceptional service looks like, and Julia absolutely delivered.
Also, the massage I received was incredible. Tommy gave me, without a doubt, the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
Huge thank you to the team! you’ve earned a loyal customer.
I would give this spa a 3.5. If you love Korean spas, this place is not for you… there were many good things, and some bad things. The big one, no one is required to shower before they enter the “baths”. This means you will be sharing water with men and women, not knowing their last shower or the last time they washed their swimwear.

In general, this place is definitely nothing like a jimjilbang or onsen/sento. More like a luxury swimming center you would find at a hotel.

The ambience, I’m sure many people will find moody and relaxing, though it does feel oddly creepy to be bathing in black darkness with sci-fi Tron lighting everywhere. If there’s mold anywhere, you definitely will not be able to see it. The mood feels more like an underground club scene. Not a bright, clean, friendly place.

The good parts:
- They provide nice toiletries for ladies, like skincare and pads.
- the cafe is relaxing and had a good selection of good food (however they charge barista prices for Nespresso-made coffee drinks).
- apnoshpere is relaxing, no noisy crowds.
- showers/bathrooms are very clean.

Worth it to try it at least once. Especially if you go in the morning when the entrance fee is cheaper. A good escape during the harsh New York winters.
Great gem for a reset at any time of the day. It does get busier in the evenings and weekends. Priced on the higher end, so plan to spend longer hours to make it worth it. I appreciate the seamless check in and out and the larger changing rooms, a cafe and a quiet zone for true reset. Thank you!
Changed the rules of the 10-pack day pass purchases into a weird membership which can now only be used Monday-Friday. Won’t be a regular here anymore because of that alone. The price I got with that was the only reason I never left a bad review. It made it doable.

Place is rarely not overcrowded and loud. Sometimes the quiet area with the salt water pool is the loudest section??

Multiple showers without body soap on multiple visits. No towels at towel stations for extended periods of time on busy days.

Maybe a sign to fully close sauna door so patrons don’t need to constantly correct other patrons or get up to close it themselves.

But yeah.. bring back the old 10 pack pricing. Quarterly membership and can’t bring a friend with my purchased day passes is really a downer.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bathhouse Flatiron is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional — the lighting, the design, the atmosphere. It’s the perfect balance between relaxation and a modern social vibe.

The facilities are spotless and beautifully designed, with different temperature pools, steam rooms, and saunas that make it easy to fully unwind. The staff is welcoming and professional, making the whole experience feel seamless from start to finish.

Whether you’re going solo to reset or visiting with friends, it feels special and elevated without being pretentious. Definitely one of the most unique wellness experiences in NYC. I’ll absolutely be coming bac
Staff are exceptional (shoutout to John who made us feel extremely cared for during our time here).

We are tourists from London, and are extremely jealous of what New Yorkers have here in Flatiron.

This bathhouse provides an exceptional experience. I personally love the extremely social atmosphere, everyone is talking to their friends and it creates this nice buzzy atmosphere where you really could stay all day.

The facilities are incredible, the steam room is honestly one of the steamiest I’ve ever been in, the cold plunges huge. The whole environment is so vast it never feels crowded.

I will continue to go every time I’m in NYC.
I had a great experience at the Bathhouse Flatiron. I spent a weekend day there. The spa was active and busy, but there was always space available in hot tubs, saunas, and cold pools. Food in the café was absolutely delicious and the menu was small, but perfect. Full body massage with Shane was outstanding. The quality of the massage was excellent as well as communication from him during the treatment. Hammam scrub treatment with Nas was great. If you haven’t experienced this, highly recommend! I would absolutely go back and would be curious to see what it’s like on a weekday.
Best experience. I did two meditation sessions with aromatherapy in the sauna. I would go once a month if I make time. Massage was excellent. Technology great with the wristband concept. Cafe was lovely, I had coffee and cake and my best friend had alcoholic drink. Staff so welcoming.if I could change anything it would be the loud noise near the massage rooms. But Stacie Lee had me so relaxed so I was able to eventually tune it out.
I had a lot of fun and would go again. They have a good amount of pools and saunas. You can bring your own water bottle and get as much water as you’d like. They provide you plenty of towels. It’s worth going on a weekday for $55 and you can spend hours there. However, there were a few problems that I had. It took me a while to go through the self check in because 2 kiosks were not working. They also seemed understaffed. There was no one to help you or guide you through the place and show you the locker rooms. The signs for directions were not the clearest. I got a bit lost trying to find the locker rooms and pools. Also, no one was guarding the locker rooms and I caught a few men walking in the women’s locker room. In the pool area, there was one girl walking around topless and staff didn’t do anything about it. The place also didn’t seem the cleanest. But overall, it’s not bad.
pretty cool, good amenities. must note it’s incredibly american in everyone wants to be center of attention, so you might try to relax i. the sauna and two bros are just YAPPING full volume about which firm wants to hear their startup pitch.
or women talking about how the homeless problem has gotten out of control and it’s not fair how katie got the promotion. fine it’s a social space but just so loud and hard to relax. also bros who just go in a sauna or stream room and leave the door wide open

so i had fun and enjoyed plunging but lot of main characters here
