Barnea Bistro

I ordered the tuna tower at the recommendation of the waiter. Big mistake. The tuna was not fresh. It was soft and fishy smelling/tasting. I eat, sashimi, sushi, pokey, and sushi a lot, so I know what to expect. This was not good.<br>The service wasn’t exactly speedy, so I didn’t have the time to get a replacement meal, although they did offer one. I would have thought that they would have been more concerned about my displeasure with the meal, but it didn’t seem like they were.

The place fills up quickly after 7 so make a reservation. It was very loud but pleasant. The food was good not exceptional. We weee a party of 6 and ordered roasted cauliflower, tuna tartare l, polenta fries, roasted eggplant and beef dumplings for starters. For mains we ordered a veal tomahawk chop, beef bolognese, fish tacos, black cod and Black Sea bass. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. I found the appetizers to all be lukewarm and the fish was very overcooked. The desserts were excellent and I highly recommend the strudel. The chocolate mousse was very decadent.

Barnea does it again! This place consistently delivers on every level. The ambiance is fantastic, the food is great, but what really sets it apart is the staff. Our server Nadia is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and friendly servers I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She made the entire experience. If you haven't been, go. And ask for Nadia.

Enjoyed our meal. Jacob was a very attentive waiter. I thought the dining room would be a little quieter than it was.

I had a really great experience at Barnea Bistro. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into each dish, both in taste and presentation.<br><br>The atmosphere is stylish but still comfortable, making it a great spot for a nice dinner out. Service was attentive and professional without feeling overbearing.<br><br>Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for quality food in a great setting.

the service was outstanding. Our waiter, Jacob, was the best. He made sure we had everything we needed, filling up our water constantly and making sure the food came out really fast. The food also tasted great. Would definitely come here again!

This place is hands down the best Kosher Stakehouse! The food is phenomenal, deserts on top Chef Jeni is really one of the most skilled pastry chef’s out there because you can’t tell you’re eating dairy free deserts.<br>Cocktails amazing Anthony was super attentive with all the details! We celebrated a birthday here and it was an absolute delight. Delicious food, warm and charming ambiance and outstanding customer service. Would definitely recommend visiting this place.

The ingredients and dishes were good, although they did not particularly stand out to me. I felt that the prices were somewhat high in relation to the flavors and overall experience. The service was acceptable. It is a restaurant that primarily caters to the Jewish community, and seating is organized accordingly. This is not a negative point, just something worth noting for future visitors.

This is a different level of food. Nadia is the absolute best — so sweet, kind, and present; knowledgeable about all the best stuff; and just an incredible person.

From the welcoming in to the good byes.... the staff here is amazing, nice, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. We were recommended top notch food from menu. From the appetizers to the deserts Everything was impeccably tasty, fresh, and appealing to the eye and palate. This includes the amazing Brussel sprouts, gnocchi and more... The warm and calm ambiance had us stay till the end as we celebrated the holiday and a birthday, surprisingly the staff were so nice and didn't rush us out.<br>Thank you for making our nite so special and amazing!!! Beautiful restaurant. Amazing service. I went for my stepbrothers birthday, and they did not disappoint. I ordered the rack of lamb, which was so juicy and tender, although obviously pricey. Definitely worth the 90$ or whatever it was. The dessert courss blew us all away.. we came 2 nights in a row, the second night just for the dessert 😆 highly recommend their 'la noissete' from the dessert menu.. on a final note, very pretty restaurant but dont go expecting to find something cheap on the menu. Would definitely go again without hesitation.

This was my second time at Barnea Bistro. Nadia, our server, was delightful. With nearly 30 years in the business (but only a few at this restaurant), she clearly loves her job. Her recommendations were on point and she made it easy for our group of 6 to decide on cocktails, appetizers and main courses after. We were so full that we didn’t have room for dessert.

Made a reservation online and told them we had a birthday and wanted them to sing and they did, without us even reminding them!! The ambiance is beautiful, the service was great and the food was delicious! They also have very fun cocktails.... One with smoke.

Went with my husband to Barnea Bistro in NYC tonight.<br><br>All I can say is OH EM GEE. It was SO SO good! The Brussel sprouts and eggplant were both beyond. Cooked to perfection and the flavors were insane. Crispy dumplings were great, and the sweet potato gnocchi were legit pillows.<br><br>Oh and don’t even get me started with the desserts. Probably the best we’ve gotten in a while. I got the salted caramel mousse and my husband got the key lime pie, and we both said probably top 3 ever. Still thinking about that salted caramel mousse 🧐.<br><br>Also, the service was so incredibly fast. The staff were all so kind and patient. Overall a lovely and delicious experience. Highly highly recommend!
