Bareburger - Astoria (31st Ave)

I ordered the Wagyu burger and received an extremely overcooked, dry, burnt patty that was barely edible. It looked nothing like a premium burger, let alone “Wagyu.”<br><br>What made it even worse — apparently you have to manually add all the burger ingredients/toppings yourself while ordering, otherwise you basically receive meat and bread. That was not clear at all and feels ridiculous for a burger at this price point.<br><br>For $22, I expected quality. This was incredibly disappointing.

Paola was a wonderful server! She let us know about the high quality ingredients used in all foods and drinks. We sat outside with my husband and enjoyed the wonderful weather with a delicious meal. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious! I love that I can enjoy a “cheat meal” while still having so many healthier options. The quality of the meat really stood out—especially with choices like veggie burgers, bison, organic beef, and elk. Everything tasted amazing. And my guilty pleasure? The onion rings 🥰 so good! I would definitely order again and highly recommend.

We had a great experience and everything we ordered hit the mark.<br><br>The Supreme ($18) was my personal favorite. Messy, indulgent, and absolutely worth it.<br><br>The Triple Lindy ($20) is perfect for sharing. We went popcorn chicken, Korean fried wings and spicy mozzarella sticks and they all delicious<br><br>Smash Burger (2) Combo ($19) was simple but done right<br><br>For the kids, the Grizzly Kids Meal ($12) is a solid option. A cheeseburger with the choice of regular or sweet fries and milk or apple juice.<br><br>Great food, quality ingredients, and something for everyone. Would definitely come back.

First time coming to this location. Food was amazing, service was on point. Place was busy and servers Angelina and Christopher held it down!<br>The burger I ordered was the juiciest burger I’ve ever had. Would come again! 10/10 recommend!

Beautifully designed shop layout. Hearty food with an Asian fusion twist. I liked it a lot ☺️! I got the wagyu burger and dirty orange soda and the caramelized onion soup ( I think) was amazing to dip the brioche bun in. Also, the only way to eat a burger is medium well, I said what I said!

Had a pretty nice lunch here. Upon setting foot inside the restaurant, it has a fast casual setting, adequate seating, a bar further in the restaurant, it's almost like a place common in Bushwick and Williamsburg. Wasn't too busy when I went in so I was able to find somewhere to sit easily.<br><br>The waitress noticed me almost instantly and did a solid job serving what I wanted out of the restaurant. She seemed to be the only one there which I hope wasn't the case but with only 3 people including me in there at the time, I'm sure she can manage.<br><br>I got the 2 Smashburger w/ Fries lunch special, Root Beer & a Chocolate Milkshake supposedly made from organic ice cream and was pretty good. Felt good biting down on some smashburgers after I haven't had some in a minute and the fries were decent. Was enough to fill my appetite and considerably priced considering the day and age we live in considering financial status.<br><br>Another solid joint in the lovely neighborhood of Astoria.

Such a cute little place with very good food. The fries, potato or sweet, are delicious. You can feel and taste they’re homemade and fresh.<br>I got the Americana burger and it was a treat. The mustard was so good! I highly recommend this place.<br>There are plenty of options and you can also make your own burger.

Random Friday night date night. Been meaning to come here since we're locals. Bae was confused for a second cuz their sign awning one of them was broken and he thought it was another spot named "Barburger." Silly bae.<br>Got seated fairly quickly. It's so spacious inside. Chose a booth. The waiter was very attentive and nice. It's funny they have card/board games in there.<br>Food was so tasty and delicious. Onion rings weren't overly burnt or fried or oily which I appreciated. Beverages were so crisp and tasty and refreshing. I had such a great time in here and meal. I would like to go back soon.

The onion rings were the best I ever had they are seasoned so well! The steak sandwich was scrumptious and succulent. Their chicken wings you just have to try them for yourself. We both had the ultimate smash burger. It's all worth it

Genuinely excellent attention to making the customer feel at home, service was exceptional, food was delicious and healthy, premium quality beef and ingredients. My first experience was so great due to the staff doing everything possible to making me feel like my satisfaction was top priority. My son recommendation and I am happy we stopped in. Definitely making this my first choice for burgers in Queens or NYC for that matter.

Great meal, great value, great atmosphere, great service. All the greats.<br>Organic Burger came Juicy, with that fresh grilled taste cooked to medium as ordered. For the veggies I got the works. Everything including the alfalfa sprouts. Aged Gouda cheese complimented the burger well and infused its taste with the rest of the ingredients. The burger as a whole was pretty large. Brioche bun sandwiched everything together nicely. Gave it that sweet taste.<br>I ate it one sliced cut at a time. With the help of that large toothpick like stick, the burger maintained its structure all the way through. For a side I went with the sweet potato fries. They were sweet but a little too rustic. If your know what I mean. Maybe over cooked and too thinly sliced. To wash it down I switched between the table water and a bubbly root beer. Delicious.<br><br>Bae went with the grass fed burger well done with pickles, pickled onions and ghost pepper jack cheese. I tasted the cheese. Has a good kick of heat just slides right in.<br><br>For her side she got onion rings with truffle sauce. Large order. Enough to take home. Bae shares and it was big onion slice, lightly fried. Golden brown really. Not greasy.<br><br>The organic ketchup was tasty. We liked the table mustard too.<br><br>Service was very friendly. Very attentive. Just not that much when we first walked in. Ido feel like we had to stand around a little longer than I was comfortable with to wait for the server. But was glad when he offered a booth, which I was surprised to hear because we thought all the booths were taking. Turns out there is two sections. The benches were soft and comfortable. The table was situated on the high end which made the distance from burger to mouth more convenient. I enjoyed the change.<br><br>They were generous with the napkins. Put a stack ok the table without having to ask.<br><br>They have table games! So much fun playing the meme game while we waited for our food.<br><br>What a great way to spend a Friday evening!

It was my first time ordering Bareburger and I’m positively surprised! I ordered through the mobile app and my order was ready within 15 minutes. I got the Sunshine Burger and wow, I didn’t expect it to look so amazing when I cut it in half. The patty (made with kale, sweet potato, and wild rice) was so yummy and crispy. The rest of the ingredients were also very good and fresh.<br><br>The all-natural french fries were good - just classic fries done well.<br><br>Definitely planning to come back to try more vegan or meat burgers. They must be just as good as the one I had. Highly recommend if you’re craving some good burgers! 🍔

The service and food is wonderful. You are always greeted and checked on when you are here. They make it their business to remember a familiar face. I enjoy the complimentary popcorn it’s a bonus for me. Now they have happy hour everyday (at the moment) 12-7pm another bonus. I enjoy the fact there is outdoor seating for us nature lover’s.

I love this place to eat burgers. Now they have more options and I think that's fabulous. I went with my family, two children, and we ordered fries and chicken nuggets (panda combo) and believe me, the chicken tasted exquisite. For us, a standard hamburger with gluten-free bread (I think it's a great option for those of us who have problems with gluten and I think it's a PLUS) my partner ordered an American hamburger and the meat looked delicious. In addition to this we ordered a milkshake that was out of this world. What I like most about this place is the taste of the food it feels natural.<br>The service was 10/10 and of course the fries at this place are the best.<br>Music and ambient 10/10
