I went to see Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus with my hubby on 2/21. I hadn't been to the circus in many years and am happy to report it is still the Greatest Show on earth! It was amazing with the acrobats, the contortionist, the trapeze artists, the unicycle, etc, and of course the grand finale-the canon! This was my first show without animals and clowns and although I felt nostalgic and missed that part, it was still a.stellar show. The many children present were all very much engaged and had a great time.

This was my second time visiting Barclays Center, and overall it was a great experience. I’m a big Nets fan, and honestly every time I go, they win — so I always have an amazing time here!

This time my tickets were much more affordable, which meant I was sitting farther away, but the view and the overall atmosphere were still really enjoyable. It’s a solid venue and a fun place to watch basketball.

The only major downside was the entrance/security process. I completely understand the need for safety precautions, but the line and screening were incredibly slow and inefficient. It took forever to get inside — and once I finally made it in, I found out the staircase I needed wasn’t working. Because of that, I literally had to walk all the way around the stadium from the inside just to reach my section. I was already running tight on time, so it added a lot of unnecessary stress.

Yes, I know arriving earlier or purchasing better seats could help, but I still feel like security and internal access could be handled much more efficiently, especially for such a major venue.

Aside from that, I really like Barclays Center. I brought friends who were visiting NYC for the first time, and they loved it. It’s a great attraction for tourists and an awesome way to experience NYC culture — especially during winter.

One important tip: it can get VERY cold inside depending on where you’re seated. If you’re going in winter, keep your coat on — you may actually need it even indoors.

Overall, highly recommended — just plan extra time for security and getting to your seats.
I came to see a Brooklyn Nets game and absolutely loved the atmosphere, truly an authentic
American sports experience! Inside, the arena is impressive and much bigger than it looks from the outside.
The energy of the crowd and the excitement of the game made it an unforgettable visit.
Ok .. my first experience here watching a NBA match . As a first timer, it was good.. the match was between Nets and Dallas Mavericks . My son loves NBA and was super excited . Parking was a few blocks away . Except the match tickets everything was super damn expensive… parking was about $66 .. yes you heard it right!!! Very very expensive ..

Getting to this venue is also very difficult if you come from New Jersey.. traffic is crazy and it takes a long time.. unfortunately we will not be able to take a train to this venue.. food is also super expensive.. a bottle of coke is about 8-9$ ! Try to eat outside before coming to the match .

Seating up high in the second floor.. this was the only stand which had tickets for less than 45$ .. We didn’t want to spend too much on the tickets… the view was good though. Very clear views .. kids enjoyed the game too .

Good experience overall from a game perspective .. but everything else release super expensive and not comfortable .. 3 stars . ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The subway in and access to the stadium was seamless. You come up the stairs and everything is right there. The venue is great and we had a wonderful time. The Nets put on a show and it was a ton of fun.
There are parking lots in different areas close to it. I parked my vehicle at the Atlantic Mall. It costs $50. But it's just a few steps away from the main entrance. Easy access from busses, subway or cars.

Passing through security wasn't a problem, especially for us that did not have any bags with us.

This is a great place to watch basketball. The place looks great in and out. There is a diverse selection of food options, including kiosks selling food for non-profits and schools (I love this).

Restrooms are fairly spacious and clean.

We chose a great section to watch our Spurs play against the Nets.

We will definitely come back next year.
I went to the Barclays Center last week to see the circus. This was the first time since I was 10 years old (many moons ago) to see the circus live. This time around there were no animals. It was an only human show, which was still wildly entertaining.

I suggest getting to the event at least an hour before the show as it was very easy to check in with your barcode ticket. It also gives a person plenty of time to use the restroom, pick up food (which at an early time seems limited) and pick up souvenirs prior to the start of the show.

Since it was my first time at any event here it was pretty easy to get around. But if a person gets lost or is unsure about where they sit there is plenty of staff and/or security that is very helpful in navigating.

The seating arrangements can be a bit tight as if a person needs to get up it might be difficult to get out of your row.

Overall, I had a great experience seeing the circus and would come back again to see another event at the Barclays.
I've been to Barclay's Center a few times for concerts, basketball games, and even the circus. The staff there are always super nice and helpful when it comes to finding your seats. Just a heads-up, if you're planning on grabbing food or drinks, get there early 'cause those lines can get pretty long!
Great experience . Seats were great don't get tickets from Ticketmaster they was too much. Get them from StubHub. You can also pay another $20 for a parking pass. But the parking lot that I give you is a little ways from the arena. There's a parking lot next to the Barclay center on the same building it costs a lot more on the backside of the building.
I really enjoyed my time there. The staff was helpful. The bathrooms were clean. There was a lot of organized entertainment during the game. The alcoholic cocktails are about $25+ & they are also cashless. There is a subway station pretty much at the entrance/exit. So it’s really convenient to get here from most parts of the city.
The Jonas Brothers did not disappoint! Lovely seats, attentive, kind staff, and a comfortable VIP lounge, 10/10 would recommend. Uber was quite $$$ post-show, so I’d recommend taking a train to your final destination.
Barclays Center feels like one of those places where Brooklyn shows its real scale and energy. It sits right in the middle of movement — subways below, traffic around, people coming from every direction. There’s always a sense that something is happening here, even when there’s no event inside.
The building itself is heavy and solid, with a modern, almost industrial look that fits Brooklyn well. It doesn’t try to be elegant or flashy — it feels strong, urban, and purposeful. When there’s a game or a concert, the whole area comes alive: crowds gather, voices mix, lights reflect off the streets, and the pace of the neighborhood shifts.
Inside, everything is organized for large events — sports, concerts, shows. The sound, the scale, and the flow of people all remind you that this is one of the main gathering points of the city. But even outside, just standing near the entrance, you can feel the energy moving through the area.
Barclays Center isn’t just an arena.
It’s a pulse point for Brooklyn — where transit, crowds, noise, and city life all meet in one place.
Right in front of the train station.
Big, impressive arena.

Didn’t love the security attitude though felt a bit aggressive. One of them even commented, “I hate when artists do dumb shit like this.”
Attending a concert for your favorite artist and hearing that from arena staff wasn’t exactly on my bingo card.

So not my favorite arena, but overall still a good experience.
Went for an NBA game with two new friends — complimentary VIP suite tickets for the Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics. The first half felt like warming up, but the later half turned fiery, the whole arena pulsing with energy.

Instead of grabbing a drink afterwards, we made a spontaneous decision: walk the Brooklyn Bridge at night. My first time. And somehow magical. The skyline shimmering, the wind cold but comforting, and the city unfolding quietly beneath us.

Funny how life arranges its timing — I tried crossing on July 4th but it was closed for fireworks. Yet tonight, without planning, it opened itself to me in its own way. Some moments are meant to find you when you’re not looking.
