Delicious! The seafood salad was really fresh and I enjoyed the shabu and stir fry dish too.

Went here on a Monday night at 7pm and were the only people here, which was shocking, considering how excellent the food and service was, and other Thai places in the area were super busy.
The crispy watercress salad was a textural delight, I scraped every last bit out of the bottom of the bowl.
The raw shrimp salad was unique and delicious. I’ve never seen it on a menu in NYC and highly recommend. The crispy fish with mango salad was perfectly cooked and the mango was perfectly balanced while still leaving the fish crispy. The massaman curry was very good but I wouldn’t get it again—there are more interesting ways to explore the menu. We got everything “Thai spicy” which felt reasonable but not painful for a group of us who can handle heat. I would do Thai spicy again.
Don’t leave without the mango sticky rice. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had.
I absolutely loved my experience at Ayada. The food was amazing, full of flavor. The service was excellent as well, the staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were also delectable and paired perfectly with the meal. I felt very comfortable and welcomed during my visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I order takeout from here all the time, but I finally went with some friends here to sit down inside. I love this place and my friends came to the same conclusion.
This is truly my favorite Thai place. I love it and so did my crew! The fish with the mango salad...Phenomenal! Genuinely the best thing on the table. I had the pad thai, which is also what I always order for takeout. The lychee lemonade and the thai tea were just the cherries on top of our meal.
This place takes some traveling for me to do, but it’s 100% worth it. The food is amazing. I usually don’t like the tom yum soup at other Thai places, but this place changed my mind. The massaman curry was delicious and the fish was fried perfectly. The staff was very attentive and nice. I really enjoyed my meal here.
Ayada in Elmhurst is easily one of the best Thai spots you can visit, and it’s a fantastic choice for groups. We went as a party of 6 with a reservation and ordered a variety of dishes, but the portions were so generous that we couldn't even finish everything. I’d definitely say that all the orders are perfect for sharing if you want to taste a bit of everything with your friends.

The absolute highlight for me was the creamy tom kha gai soup—it was incredible, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Just a heads-up: whether you love the heat or prefer things mild, make sure to let them know your spice preference when you order!
Every dish we ordered was packed with bold, authentic flavors and executed perfectly.

The drunken noodles were smoky, spicy, and beautifully balanced, great wok char and just the right kick. The larb was fresh, vibrant, and full of herbs, with that perfect tangy heat that keeps you going back for another bite.

The curry duck was the standout: incredibly tender, rich, and deeply flavorful, with a curry that was complex without being overwhelming. And the Thai sausage? Juicy, aromatic, and addictive, the perfect appetizer to kick things off.

Everything tasted intentional and true to Thai cuisine. Add friendly service and a cozy, no-frills atmosphere, and AYADA easily earns its reputation as one of the best Thai spots around. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.
Definitely the least favorite Thai restaurant of all that I’ve been to. We ordered “Crispy Duck Panang Curry” and “Shabu Shabu Noodles”. I thought the curry tasted good but there were no veggies in it at all, it was literally duck in curry sauce, no veggies like bamboo shoots, peas, carrots etc that you’d expect from a thai curry. The same with the shabu shabu noodles as well, no veggies in it. Portion size was very less too. Overall an underwhelming experience.

The service is quite bad. We asked to seat in the middle table initially due to it being close to the door and cold wind blowing in. The waitress says we cannot seat there. One minute later, two new customers were seated there.
This place is a cute little gem on Woodside Ave! Steamed mussels are a must, that spicy sauce that comes with it on the side was so good! Spicy and sweet! Atmosphere was very nice, cozy, staff very friendly, patient, oh and last but not least their choice of music was great. Definitely worth coming.
Wow - this place was fabulous. Excellent service and what we had was absolutely delicious. We started off with the dumplings as an appetizer and then we split a few items, including drunken noodles with beef – medium rare – with basil fried rice and Chinese broccoli. Everything was incredibly savory. Atmosphere cozy and welcoming. About the service, the folks running this restaurant were very attentive. At one point, I dropped my fork on the floor and literally seconds after it hit our table server had another fork and spoon plus a napkin for me. We are definitely coming back and can’t imagine anyone who loves Thai food would have a bad experience here.
Cozy, quiet Thai restaurant. The staff is lovely. Great date restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. I was only surprised that the pad kaprow was served with sliced pork instead of the usual ground pork. The appetizers were great.
Rating: 7.5/10
Date Last Visited: 8/30/2025

We ordered the Satay Chicken ($12), Drunken Noodles with Chicken ($17), Massaman Curry with Chicken ($17), and Lychee Thai Iced Tea ($6). The drunken noodles were great: the noodles were chewy, flavorful, and toppings added even more. The massaman curry was good too. The satay chicken was so juicy that it had me questioning if it was undercooked (it was not). The food was very solid, similar to other good Thai places, except nothing set this place apart from other solid Thai restaurants in the area. Overall, I would recommend this place for someone who’s looking for good Thai food in the area.
The food was incredible. Everything we had was 10/10. Three of us split three entrees, an app and two desserts and we ate it all! It was delicious.

We enjoyed the spice level, and the flavors were so rich and delicious. I tried one of their cocktails, which were also excellent. Everyone was so friendly.
The food is consistently delicious, with the Pad See Ew with Chicken being a standout – the noodles were perfectly soft. While the ribeye was tasty, it felt a bit pricey. Don't miss the chive dumplings – an excellent appetizer! Service was attentive; our waitress proactively refilled our water.
Stopped here before our flight. Service and staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious and really reasonably priced for its quality. Would size down with spice levels even with a medium tolerance.
