Great selection of kosher food, interesting and creative cuts of poultry as well. And their cooked food department is delicious!

Caveat: DO NOT GO HERE my opinion is Poor management and dishonest. So sorry I have to write this. Overpriced return was told two biz days received later. Although rarely ask for my money back I said maybe they need it more. I checked out of curiosity if money credited back it didn’t but today got refunded but it was back dated I’m an accountant I can’t be fooled this time right after I got refund. Because i said something. In bank account because i checked it did not reflect two days before and after. Today I went to get Oatmeal to get it back because I was confronted and asked. Then because the lady raised her voice at me for $5 approx I said I’ll let you speak. . The other guy defended said return I got it right after and demanded I leave wasn’t violent was simply asking. They are so desperate for money there

Extraordinary experience the front desk lady was extremely rude to me firstly asking me one the day of purchase because I’m not Jewish targeted asking me the day I bought the item was loudly I asking if I need help sarcastically. That grocery is overpriced seems going concern is desperate for money that’s why they nonchalantly ripping off customers. This is my belief.

Excellent store for 100% good Kosher food at reasonable prices.
Very disappointed and disturbed by my experience today at Aaron’s Supermarket.

I shop at this store regularly—at least four times a week—and have spent thousands of dollars here over the years. I have never complained before, which makes today’s incident especially upsetting.

I was waiting at the register with a heavy hand basket full of groceries. There were only two items on the belt ahead of me, so I attempted to place the divider stick so I could put my items down, as my hand was getting tired. The cashier abruptly grabbed the divider and threw it toward the end of the belt, preventing me from placing my groceries. When I calmly asked why she did that, she responded with a nasty look and no explanation.

I moved the divider again so I could place my items, and she did the same thing a second time. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager.

I explained exactly what happened and even suggested checking the cameras, since the store is fully monitored. Instead of addressing the behavior or reviewing the footage, the manager immediately sided with the cashier. I made it clear that I simply wanted to pay for my groceries and leave—I was not looking for an argument.

The manager moved the cashier to another register, but later stopped me again as I was leaving to lecture me about “protecting her employees,” strongly implying that I was at fault. This was shocking, especially given my long history as a respectful, loyal customer.

To make matters worse, two other customers—who had nothing to do with the situation—began cursing at me in Spanish. I understood exactly what was being said and felt completely ganged up on. Both the cashier and manager were also Spanish-speaking, and I am Jewish. The situation felt hostile and deeply uncomfortable, and no effort was made by management to de-escalate or protect me as a customer.

I left the store shaking. No customer should ever feel targeted, dismissed, or humiliated like this—especially in a Glatt kosher store that serves a Jewish community.

This behavior was unacceptable. The store is already very expensive, and I expect basic respect and professionalism. After today, I will not be returning.

Loyal customers should not be treated this way.

Recently I had a bad outrageous experience with your manager Stacey the blonde lady. Upfront I’ve been a customer for many years since they opened up the supermarket. December 18 Thursday evening I bought several bags of groceries, a pineapple and a small container of prepacked dates. The body of the pineapple literally fell apart on me that night and the top part its head the leaves also fell apart. I couldn’t return it next day Friday- short day it closed early . The dates also had a bug on it and there were parasites inside the dates - gross. I knew that I may not get my refund back, but I wanted to tell them at least to let them know at the produce section so they can be aware and address it. Stacey came up to the desk and instead of taking my question, she went over my head and took three other people- She was so disgusting and rude. She said that she remembered me from years ago because of my experience of a bad package of rice from a company called Royale- It may be plastic as was going on in the news nationwide the Chinese people have been manufacturing Plastic rice. Now all the years that I went shopping, she never had this kind of wrath or showed it to me before. I was always friendly and kind and said hello … Any mistakes happen in shopping on Aaron’s part they always fixed everything always went smoothly . But few days ago Dec 26 she snapped and she rudely ignored me and went to take care of of other customers. Now another nice manager comes to me and says tell me what’s wrong. I was so angry that it was just hard to be calm and tell her what was happening - and in the meantime, Stacey is like it’s hard to get the words out so full of disgusting rude disrespectful sarcasm. I said there’s no way I will come shopping here again. I don’t need the ugly abuse from Stacey. The other people have been so nice and fair, but that’s not enough to keep me a customer. She should be fired long time ago. I tried to capture the bad food on a picture or video, but I couldn’t because it was in the garbage bag The pineapple was so stinky I had to throw it out I didn’t want those dates after I put in my mouth then I saw the bug. But to just tell them… let department know… they don’t deserve that. I wish I could’ve recorded the altercation with your insubordinate employee Stacey. I will never go shopping in this supermarket again I didn’t need to suffer from inferior products and then have this rude sarcastic abuse from her.

Excellent falafel sandwiches half price on Mondays after 12. $5.43 with tax. You can’t go wrong.
Kosher Frozen turkey for Thanks Giving.
Recently had a very bad and unfriendly experience when I asked about Thanksgiving catering, and I will never go back there. During my previous visit as well, the staff in the prepared food section were very rude! Also most items in Higher price than similar !
I started coming here for the fresh fish. I love halibut steak and what i get here is the very best. So I started trying their other deli items and bakery items. Everything is fresh and excellent. Plus you can get all your other items from yogurts and paper goods to meat and poultry. Yes some things are expensive, what isn't these days? But when it comes to my health and what I eat...it's worth it.
A terrific Kosher supermarket with lots of good food made there to heat up at home.

Thanks for the review Alan! We're so glad you enjoy our selection and prepared foods.
Aron’s Kissena Farms offers a wide variety of products, but the prices are significantly higher than what you can find elsewhere. In an economy where every dollar counts, shopping here feels impractical for the average working person.

I recently started exploring other options in my neighborhood and discovered Lidl on Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows, NY. The difference is remarkable—Lidl’s prices are far more reasonable and clearly aimed at working-class families. The quality of their food is great, and you can truly stretch your budget there.

Aron’s seems to cater more to a wealthier clientele, making it less accessible to everyday shoppers. If you’re looking to save money without compromising on quality, I highly recommend Lidl instead. It’s a smart choice for anyone trying to navigate these tough economic times.
I grew up in pomonok which is across the street and I've been in this store a couple of times growing up and it is nothing like it is now! This is such a cute boutique type grocery store that has a lot of healthier options! A lot of different foods and snacks from different cultures which I absolutely love! Their sushi bar is amazing! It's just overall pretty and they're prepared food section is out of this world
Overall a great place to shop, prices are high for the soups, salads and kugels. The deli area is a disgrace. Trays out in the open where the public can touch, sneeze and cough on, and can touch the products especially small children. The Health Department should be called, certainly not clean. I even saw the deli depart filling containers and no one was using gloves or masks.
It’s only good for certain people.some of their dry fruit deptt has issues with quality. But once you bought the product they will not return it if you go back . Customer service is horrible and woman who deal with it she is terrible and owner of this place is hiding somewhere who do not want to face anyone.Look at the wrong prices and signs recent days. On to of Hami melon they signed for something else which is 99 cent per pound and I got charged $1.49 per pound. Same thing with Peaches they advertised and signed for 99 cent per pound and I got charged for $1.99 per pound. So check your receipt and signs when you shop here. Very deceiving and dishonest practices.

We appreciate your review Waseem. We will strive to ensure that your experience is more positive next time.
Their prices were way cheaper than now. Seems like they have the cheapest produce retails still.Meat proces go up and down depends of the holidays.Grocery prices arent that convenient but pretty much they have a huge kosher selection in this store .Also big parking lot as well
This place keeps on updating their products and store! Was blown away by their fresh produce. Really like their sushi (buy two get one free is a great deal). The deli is also out of this world. The Hava Java station is probably serving the best coffee in Queens. They also widened the aisles. 10/10
