The rooms were beautiful, the location was fantastic and overall I had an absolutely fabulous stay. However, the true highlight of my experience was Jennifer and Malachi at the front desk.<br>I travel frequently for work and have stayed in countless hotels over the years and I genuinely cannot tell you the last time I met two front desk agents quite like these two. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel incredibly welcome. Every interaction with them was an absolute delight, and they brought such warmth, personality, and genuine care to my stay that it felt less like speaking with hotel staff and more like catching up with friends. I could have happily chatted with them even more than I already did. Their level of service is truly beyond this world and as someone who previously worked as a hotel manager in Australia's largest hotel (Crown) I know just how rare team members like this are. I would have been absolutely thrilled to have Jennifer and Malachi on my team.<br>Please extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to them both. They made an already wonderful stay unforgettable, and they are the reason I will remember this hotel so fondly.<br><br>Jennifer and Malachi, remember: This season is for a reason!

I was in Manhattan for business and stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location is incredibly convenient and walkable to almost anywhere in the city, with pharmacies, convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants all within a 5-minute walk from the hotel.<br><br>The hotel itself is modern and has a really cool vibe, and I loved the way the spaces were designed. There is a really nice rooftop bar and a great courtyard on the ground floor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also had a few packages delivered to the hotel before I arrived, and everything worked out perfectly. They received and kept my packages safe until I retrieved them, making it a very smooth process.<br><br>The only downside was the room, which was extremely small. It is somewhat expected for hotel rooms in the city, but it was really tight and there was hardly any room to open my luggage. The room was also very basic with hardly any amenities provided.<br><br>That being said, the location and vibe made up for it, and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Location is excellent just a short walk to the main subway connections and a stones throw from the Hudson and far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots.<br><br>Room is seriously small. Much smaller than anticipated and quite disappointing if I am honest. I understand most cities have small rooms but I feel the design doesn’t accommodate the small space (lack of storage). It didn’t help the one draw for storage was broken and only opened 4-5”.<br><br>Service was great from check in staff. However the room cleaning left more to be desired. In a 6 day stay my room was only cleaned once without me having to request. In two occasions after being out all day I had to call and ask for the room to be serviced, given the room is so small this probably impacted the stay more than usual and is actually hotel policy I just wasn’t told of.<br><br>Overall the hotel is great, would I stay again? No I feel there are better hotels at the price point I paid (that isn’t to say you could get a bargain and stay here).<br><br>FYI - LTD pizza next door is some of the best pizza we had in NYC

3.5🌟<br>pros:<br>- great location, was quiet and felt very safe + easy to commute<br>- modern style hotel with a nice aesthetic<br>- complimentary water everyday<br>- ubereats delivered soooo quickly and was so easy<br>- affordable option and different room types to choose from<br>- could stream from phone to tv and watch our own shows/movies, which was nice during downtime<br>cons:<br>- room wasn’t cleaned until late into the afternoons, sometimes after we had already returned<br>- minimal privacy with frosted glass bathroom<br>- tight space and limited room for suitcases and belongings<br>- weren’t able to do early check in after 24hrs of travel time<br>- lifts are very slow during peak times<br><br>i think this would be a good option for couples or solo travellers. but if you are travelling with people who you would prefer more space/privacy with or if you have a lot of luggage, i would go with a different option. otherwise, it was a great stay

We stayed 4 nights at Arlo Soho and it was a great, busy and chic hotel. Room size were fine, it is NYC. Location is convenient for metro, also is walking distance to SoHo, Tribeca and Greenwich. The rooftop patio/bar was a vibe, and bodega was convenient with good coffee!<br><br>Service was excellent, we had a room facing Canal/Hudson which kept us up at night as we’re not used to the endless honking at night at the Holland Tunnel. Upon letting Arlo know, they switched us to courtyard facing and it made a huge difference. Will be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Arlo SoHo. Misu was absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we needed! She was even kind enough to follow up on whether or not we were able to get coats for the weekend. Our stay was easy and seamless. The restaurant within the hotel is absolutely amazing! Impeccable service, drinks and ambiance. The French fries are binge worthy! Thank you all for such an incredible, wholesome stay. I had a great stay at Arlo Soho!<br>As a solo traveler, just for a few days in NY for a work event, Arlo was the perfect spot! All staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant onsite is really good!<br>Location is great! Easy to walk around with lots of restaurants close by.<br><br>The only thing I would say is that the bathroom door is no really a door, it doesn't completely close. Since I was alone, that was not a problem.

The experience here was fantastic. If I could give extra stars for service, I would. Our trip encountered a curve ball (nothing to do with the hotel) so Andrew & Al went above and beyond to help us out (so great). The rooms were clean and the umbrella came in handy! Bonus: if you require a spot to do some work, there is plenty of space for that (which we did). Bottom line: we'll be back.

My travel had to be moved due to the snowpacalypse. I booked a room at a special rate well before anyone could have anticipated that the entire eastern seaboard would essentially be shut down because of a blizzard. I contacted this property to see if my reservation could be moved and the cost applied to a new one. I asked about this option multiple times and ways, always having to hound and follow-up for answers. Then when I asked about a price difference I saw ON ARLO’s site, different than the rate I was being quoted via email, no one would tell me what the difference was—another special rate or something else. I don’t understand why I have been getting the runaround when millions of us have been dealing with an historic storm, losing power/heat/several feet of snow to navigate. I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m trying to hustle and get over on this business when even AMTRAK allowed flexibility, whether rebooking or cancelling and issuing refunds to its customers. What terrible customer service for absolutely no reason. There has just been an historic storm?! I know about these hotels because my job has booked us there for work events, and they seemed nice, but I will never stay in one again. And I will share this experience with my job and suggest they never book me or our colleagues at an Arlo property again either.

Al at the front desk treated me like I was checking into a $1k/night room - just absolutely stellar service. They granted me early check-in. There’s an excellent co-working space just beyond the lobby. Minuscule room - barely bigger than the bed. But well-designed, considering. Immaculately clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this is a solid spot. I will happily return.

I stayed in January & absolutely loved it. The staff was nice, personable, & accommodating. We ate at Lindens & the food & drinks were so perfect that we didn't bother getting food anywhere else. We even had a coursed out meal in a heated cottage on our last day. The location is great for shopping & site seeing as well. I've thought about the trip every week since & can't wait to go back.

Service: literally everyone who works here is lovely. At front desk, in the 'bodega', in the restaurant, in the cocktail bar, and the cleaning folks - all so friendly and helpful.<br>Rooms: my room was small but cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Could do with a little more storage or at least a few more hooks for hanging clothes. The bathroom was a fogged glass unit with a sliding door instead of a proper en suite, which I didn't love, but since I was alone it wasn't a huge deal.<br>Location: the location couldn't be better. It's a quiet road so you aren't bothered by noise, but it's within easy walking distance of some very cool spots (Brooklyn bridge being one!) and the subway is super close too.
I stayed January 2–3. Checkout is at 12 PM, and I went downstairs around 11:35 AM to store our belongings while we explored. About 10 minutes later, I realized I left my earrings on the stand in the room and immediately called the hotel.<br><br>A staff member told me she would secure the earrings at the front desk. I explained I would return later and trusted the staff to keep them safe.<br><br>When I came back, I was told the shift had gone home, there was no record of the item, and I never received a call back. Given the timing, the room should not have been cleaned yet. Small valuables like earrings don’t simply disappear when reported immediately.<br><br>I hope management reviews key-card access and housekeeping logs from that timeframe. This situation was handled poorly and raises serious concerns about accountability and trust.

Perfect location. If you prefer staying a bit away from the busiest tourist areas, this hotel is an excellent choice. SoHo and Tribeca are charming neighborhoods with beautiful streets and architecture — simply walking around already feels like an experience.<br><br>The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and bars, and it’s close to Bleecker Street, where you can find live music venues featuring blues and rock. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, and having a restaurant and bar on site is very convenient.<br><br>The elevators are fast, and the rooms are fair considering the price and location. They are on the smaller side, so if you have a lot of luggage it might feel tight. However, since our goal was to enjoy the city and we only used the room to sleep, the size didn’t bother us — and the view we had made up for it.<br><br>The staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was very positive. I would definitely stay here again.
