Iced chocolate was very good, rich and not overly sweet. The portion is very big. The turnillion framboise was delicious and light. Highly recommend!

Waiter was very nice and answered any questions we had! Even went back to ask the chef any questions. We go there at 8:05am because I read somewhere they get busy fast, there was no wait at 8:05am. French toast is delicious and so was the croissant. We got an iced chai with almond milk and a latte with vanilla and nonfat milk.

This place was everything I was hoping for! I came for a late breakfast and ordered the Angelina Breakfast with hot chocolate and the omelet. The hot chocolate was perfectly rich and delicious - the most chocolatey hot chocolate I’ve ever had. The pastries were light and flaky and the omelet was perfectly cooked. The staff was kind and attentive as well. It was a lovely experience and I’ll definitely come back sometime.

I was amazed and a little scared about this place because I wasn’t sure if I would like it but it was really popular and wanted to live the experience and it was a great breakfast, the hot cocoa? Omg amazing!! It didn’t disappoint at all! Service was really quick and good even with the amount of people. It’s worthy.

This was our first “breakfast” of the day… desserts, crepes, and coffee😂

The food was excellent! I had an eclair - it was creamy and the chocolate on top was smooth!

I gave a 4/5 for service, even though the service was good… the waiter forgot to give me my card back… and gave me the wrong receipt for signature. Maybe it was his first time, but not a normal mistake.

Overall, I would come back and eat at Angelina’s!

We visited Angelina Bakery, and visually, the desserts are absolutely stunning truly works of art. Walking in feels like stepping into a different world of sweets. The hot chocolate is excellent and definitely worth trying.
That said, the experience was mixed. The staff attitude felt cold, almost as if they were doing customers a favor rather than welcoming them. We had eaten pizza shortly before and came specifically to enjoy hot chocolate and one dessert. However, the dining room rules are very strict you are not allowed to sit unless you are ordering full food, not just desserts or drinks.
Because of this, we were required to order to go, which took away from the experience we were hoping to enjoy inside such a beautiful space.
Overall, the desserts and hot chocolate are fantastic, but the rigid seating policy and unwelcoming service were disappointing. If you plan to visit, be aware that you may not be able to sit unless you’re ordering a full meal.

Angelina truly serves the world’s best hot chocolate—and that’s not an exaggeration. Rich, velvety, and intensely chocolatey, it’s more like sipping pure melted chocolate than a typical hot cocoa. Every sip is indulgent, smooth, and perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet.

The experience itself is just as memorable. The elegant, classic atmosphere makes you slow down and savor the moment, turning a simple cup of hot chocolate into something unforgettable. It’s comfort, luxury, and tradition all in one.

If you’re anywhere near Angelina and don’t try their hot chocolate, you’re genuinely missing out on one of life’s great treats. This is the kind of drink you remember long after the cup is empty. Absolutely iconic and 100% worth it. 🍫☕️

Walked in and ordered from the takeout counter. We got a pistachio croissant and a hot chocolate.

The croissant had a nice filling and wasn’t overly sweet. I do wish it was flakier though.

The hot chocolate was really, really nice. It was super thick and rich. Even though it is pre made and just poured into a cup, I highly recommend getting it. However, it isn’t for those who don’t love chocolate - because it’s so rich, it can get a little too much for some. I would recommend having some water on the side to cleanse your palate.

I’ve been to Angelina Café in New York twice now. I came last year and liked it so much that I decided to come back again this year. This time I visited on Christmas morning for breakfast, and it was a really special experience. The place has a cozy and charming French café vibe, and it always feels welcoming. The hot chocolate is amazing, rich and delicious, and the food is great as well, fresh pastries and really good breakfast dishes. Both times I came here I had a very good experience, and everything was well prepared and enjoyable. It’s definitely a place I recommend if you’re looking for a charming French café or a nice breakfast spot in New York City.

I absolutely love this place! Ever since I heard Angelina Paris was in NYC, I’ve been coming here whenever I’m in town. Their chestnut cake called Mont Blanc is my absolute favorite, and I grabbed a takeout this time because I was too busy to wait in line. If you have a moment, you absolutely have to try their hot chocolate at the cafe. The whole experience will be lovely. Their customer service is always fantastic, and you’ll really enjoy being there.

I just came in to get something sweet and special after gallivanting around the Bryant Park Christmas market.

I don’t recall the name of what I ordered but you can match the visual from the photo I’ll include. It had an absolutely amazing chestnut praline cream inside. I was drawn to it because that was the same filling in the bouche de noel dessert I had in Paris last December. It was absolutely delicious and the staff were welcoming and delightful. I’ll be looking to return to dine in sometime.

Tried this French restaurant over the weekend. I really enjoyed their scrambled eggs, they were velvety and delicious. My company had the Eggs Benedict and the Angelina Breakfast. The hot chocolate wasn’t for me, it was very thick and too sweet. The service was fast, and the place was clean. It wasn’t crowded when we went for brunch, so no lines either. The price was fair.

This place serves French food, but honestly the flavors were just okay. The chocolate bread was a bit dry, and the chocolate dessert and drink were way too rich for me to finish. On the plus side, the staff speak French, which really adds to the vibe, and the plating was very elegant. The real highlight here is the atmosphere—it’s beautiful and the location is super convenient. If you’re going more for the ambiance than the food, it’s definitely worth a visit.

This place has a chic and thoughtfully designed atmosphere that immediately stands out. The food was good and well-prepared, offering a nice selection that makes it worth trying. While I did feel a little uneasy with the staff, as the service didn’t come across as very warm or engaging, the overall experience was still enjoyable. It’s definitely a nice spot to visit with friends for a coffee and dessert.

It was an amazing experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. The croissant had the perfect texture, the latte was rich in flavor, and the crepe was amazing. Although we had to wait a bit to get seated, it was well worth it. Definitely a must-visit for French cuisine lovers.
