The interior design was absolutely beautiful, every little detail had Amalfi Coast vibes and there were lemons everywhere 🍋.My friend tried the limoncello and loved it, and we also ordered the watermelon cello which was so refreshing. I got the Tagliolino al Limone and it was fresh, buttery, lemony and perfectly balanced. One of my friends got the seafood pasta and another got a gnocchi style pasta, everything tasted amazing. Honestly the focaccia might have been the best thing on the table, warm, soft, crispy outside with olive oil and rosemary. And the tiramisu at the end was incredible. Yes it is a bit pricey, but the quality, atmosphere and overall experience absolutely make it worth it.

Food was excellent but the dining room was empty and the host wouldn’t seat us in the main dining room until I tipped him. Such a big fuss about seating and table selection for an empty dining room. Even then they wouldn’t give us the table we wanted by the sign and no one sat there the whole night. Crazy. I’ve been to dozens of much more upscale places with less the fuss.
I’ve been here twice. The first time, the pasta was excellent, truly melting in your mouth. However, the experience was uncomfortable due to the heat, and the staff came across as indifferent. The fan was working but fixed in one direction, and despite asking, they wouldn’t adjust it to cool the area. A waiter also opened the windows behind us without checking first.
On my second visit, I ordered the same pasta and had a clear comparison. This time it was slightly overcooked and a bit doughy, which was disappointing. Overall, great potential, but both service and consistency need improvement.
Great Job Birreria team on the amalfi redesign, the atmosphere and the food were both great! A fresh take, showcasing light and delicious seafood, pastas, and veggies! We went in spring and it delivered a delicious bounty with green peas, artichokes, and bright lemon among other great ingredients. Also ask your server about their wines, they are delicious!
Went for a friend’s birthday celebration. I got a drink and a whole branzino. Both food and drink were nice. The pricing was a bit steep. The service was nice. Location was great. Overall a nice experience.
My wife and I enjoyed lunch here based upon a recommendation from our niece who lives in NYC. The atmosphere of this secret garden was a peaceful break from the city streets. Our server Cristiano (from Milan) did an excellent job recommending delicious pasta dishes and wines for us. The perfect ending to our lunch date was “the best tiramisu in the country.” It was definitely the best we had ever eaten. Thanks Cristiano!
Had gone for brunch for a birthday celebration. Appetizer and main course were mediocre, but dessert was absolutely delicious. The menu was very selective, so the choices were limited. The ambience was lively. The staff was sloppy with terrible service. Not worth the money. There is better food else where in NYC.
On a recent trip to New York City we decided to eat at Amalfi. What a wonderful experience and great food and wine. We especially loved our waitress Natalie. Thank you Natalie for your warm wonderful conversation and your attentiveness to our visit. You made us feel right at home and can't wait to visit you guys again. Happy holidays!
Jorge was our main waiter on 12/6. The place was packed, and he made us feel so special. He even learned 2 signs to speak with my Mother. The food was outstanding, delicious and so fresh. Tiramisu was a fantastic surprise for my daughters birthday. I will definitely be back next time I'm in NYC!
We had the best time and the best food! Cristiano was so kind to my parents (who also happen to be from Italy) and they enjoyed speaking to each other!! Thank you for everything!!!! We can’t wait to come back!
One of the best rooftop brunch experiences in NYC. Everything was fresh from Italy. Serving some of the best Italian breads, cheeses, meats, pastas, & the bartenders were excellent. Must experience.
The folks at Eataly have created a unique and interesting greenhouse space on their roof that functions as a restaurant, called Amalfi and its current iteration. There are some lovely fake trees with lemons that decorate the space and create a welcoming vibe. Unfortunately, we felt that the prices were very high for what you get, which was mid quality pasta, and small portions. Drinks are fully priced, appetizers are fully priced and while the spaces unique, you are not getting any spectacular views. We had a small group of five people, and we each had one drink, it ended up costing us $75 per person with three shared appetizers among the table. I had low expectations going in, and those expectations were met.
With no reservations at around 1:30 we went for the high tops at the bar. While they said to go to the bartender to order, one was kind enough to come to us and was very attentive to both us and the bar over the course of the afternoon.

Started with the limoncello cocktails— the cucumber one was so refreshing— and the stracciatella with tomato which was delicious. My friend had the avocado toast which was brimming with avocado and I had the prosciutto and melon. The prosciutto was good, the way I prefer it, with a mild flavor, but sliced a bit thicker than my preference. The melon didn’t have quite enough of the rind cut off.

Great atmosphere and nice breeze despite the heat of the day— would definitely return.
Great atmosphere, prices are on par with other places near by, and good service! Went to the bar area and was happy with the experience. Fun, great drinks. Had a few appetizers which were great, nothing spectacular but still was good!

No bar wait time on Friday night to get table or seat, but there were times it got busy in the bar area.

I would like to come back for dinner and try an entree!
This is the kind of place you visit for the atmosphere. The decor was impressive. We were immersed in the Alpina pop-up experience and took plenty of pictures. The service was top-notch and the server delivered above and beyond. The food was good however it wasn't the best Italian food I had. They should better their food game. After all, they're located in Eataly… I understand the neighborhood calls for higher prices, but considering the quality of the food and the portion size everything on the menu is simply overpriced. I would visit again depending on what decor they decide to put in place next.
