I shop at this ALDI in Rego Park on a regular basis, and it is honestly a lifesaver for keeping my grocery budget in check. If you’re tired of overpaying at standard New York supermarkets, this is the place to go.

The store is always clean, well-lit, and easy to navigate. I absolutely love their private-label products, their cheese selection is fantastic and affordable, their produce is always fresh.

Plus, you can't skip the "ALDI Finds" aisle; I end up grabbing a great seasonal snack or home item I didn't even know I needed.

Because it’s right here in Rego Park, it’s super convenient to get to, and having parking options makes doing a big weekly stock-up totally stress-free.

Just remember to bring a quarter for the cart and your own reusable bags! It’s a reliable, budget-friendly neighborhood staple that I highly recommend to anyone living in the area.

Definitely didn’t go to the same place as the people saying they love it- was pretty filthy. Not just a little dirty, filthy. I got some sort of egg yolk or something on my hands from a milk carton, my son asked me what was on a pack of spaghetti (it was sauce that spilled on the full box of spaghetti I guess?), all the strawberries were moldy.
No good parking but plenty of people double parked blocking the parking. People steal Costco carts I guess but they’re hard to maneuver. No cart wipes. No bathroom to wash your egg yolk hands. Like no bathroom I could find in that end of the shopping center at all, even outside the Aldi, which is crazy to me.
If you need affordable groceries it’s an ok option but not every product is good if that makes sense. Like I could only get spinach for salad bc the rest of the lettuces looked wilted or old. Worth checking out if you’re curious like I was but I won’t be revisiting this location.

This store is a godsend. They have incredible low prices. Probably the best in store brand of any grocery.

Yes the store is slightly understaffed and if you go on a weekend afternoon you might have to wait in line for 10 minutes.

That trade off is well worth it though.
Location is 7 minutes from the subway

The item selections are great. The company itself is great. However, EVERY time I go there, the cashiers always "mistakenly" tries to shortchange me. Sometimes by $2, sometimes by $5, then they try acting like it was a mistake. Savages.

I really wanted to like this Aldi, especially since it’s within walking distance for me. Unfortunately, after my third visit, I can confidently say it’s just not worth it. The store is consistently very messy and disorganized, making it frustrating to shop. On top of that, the cashiers have been extremely rude each time I’ve gone. I’d honestly rather take the bus to Trader Joe’s for a better overall experience.

I had to take 2 buses to get there only to be yet again extremely disappointed! The few items I wanted to get were of course out of stock!!

Aldi, what's going on????

First closing all restrooms to customers across the board and not considering those of us with medical conditions then raising prices and now out of stock items??!!! I'm seriously considering my options!!!

I love Aldi on Juction blvd ! Food always fresh, not expensive, store is clean and the store staff are always polite, and the cashiers work quickly, which is very pleasing. If the queue is long, they try to open new cash registers. The only downside is that there's almost nothing left after lunch, so you have to go there in the morning.

Only 3 out of 8 registers were opened. Extremely long lines. What a disrespect to the customers. My cashier Rosemary was the most quick and efficient I've ever seen. If not such dedicated cashiers, the lines would be outside of the store. The shopping carts are huge and very difficult to navigate through the packed store. Barries, packed greens are not fresh. Variety of products are somewhat limited. I will not come back.

No parking lot like I hoped, but I got lucky and found a metered spot. Kinda weird they have Costco shopping carts and no self-checkout. The layout’s different from other Aldis I’ve been to, but overall, they had everything in stock.

Much of the produce and some of the baked goods like breads and assorted pastries are priced better than the major supermarkets in the area. Bananas and small avocados are $0.49/lb. Peaches @ $1.49/lb. Meats department pricing is 25-65 cents per pound cheaper. Things like cereals salad dressing and some of the canned goods have very similar packaging and colors to the better known mainstream brands but priced 25%-50% cheaper - - e.g. cornflakes have almost the same exterior packaging and colors as Kellogg’s except named Tucson.

A bare bones supermarket with a nice selection of items. Customers have to pay .25 cents for use of a cart. Bags are .07 cents each. A good place to shop if you're on a budget, have a large family or throwing a party. Typical cashiers and shoppers with NYC attitudes. There is an indoor parking lot that charges $3 per hour. There is scant on street parking.

Complete recent overhaul, all for the better. European-style supermarket featuring fresh bakery and dairy, at discounted prices. Highly organized and wide aisles, with ample illumination (without being too bright). Very attractive seasonal offerings. In addition to groceries, some other products are sold, such as toys, minor electronics and housewares. Scant staff seen during this review, but the cashiers were nice. Rego Center's parking lot (not free but affordable) is nearby.

Fantastic, *unbeatable* prices. Straight forward, no frills shopping experience. Great choice. If you scroll through the pictures on Google for this store, be sure that they are up-to-date because they recently remodeled to create a more fresh, open, spacious shopping experience and they did a great job! I've posted updated pictures to this review so that you can see the improvements for yourself.
