Amazing discounts and a fantastic selection of products! I always find fresh produce and my favorite snacks at prices that can't be beat. The staff are super friendly and helpful, making each visit a delight!

I noticed some reviews got 5 stars, they can NOT be referring to the store in the Bronx on Gun Hill RD! I’ve been to many Aldi locations, and unfortunately this store is by far the worst when it comes to cleanliness, both inside and outside the store. Every time I visit, I see food on the floor, spills left unattended, and items scattered or out of order. I walked in and right back out the store! It’s honestly disappointing to see a store presented this way to the community.
What makes it more disheartening is that MANAGEMENT seems to have little concern for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers. The Bronx deserves better. While some customers may contribute to the mess, management should still take pride in how the store is maintained and presented to the public.
Not all residents condone this kind of environment, and as a community we all have to do better!!!! I will be back to post pictures!
This Aldi may be the worst Aldi I've ever been to. The floors are rough concrete that is all cracked and broken as you enter the door. The aisles are crowded with work carts making passing one another in the aisles a challenge. The employees are rude and unhelpful. The woman at our register didn't greet us or acknowledge when we talked to her. She stared but didn't so much as smile the whole time. The girl stocking shelves didn’t even bother checking the back when I asked if they had any more regular eggs. She just said they didn't have any. I could see some kind of eggs back there. It just would have been nice if she at least offered to check.

There were broken eggs all over the floor, when you open the cooler door. There were open cartons with broken eggs strewn around. We had to watch dates bc their organic milk was already passed date. Fortunately, we found some, behind, that was not, but that's all we got, bc we couldn't get out of there fast enough, especially since they have no bathrooms for customers, and we had to go!

Just a disgusting experience overall.
Wow! Ive been to Aldi all over the United States! This was the worst one that I've seen!

Trash everywhere. Filthy! No restroom for customers, with both doors saying employees only?!

Both organic milks that I picked up, and almost left with were 2 days old!!! My friend and I had to warn others, again, not the employees?!

No eggs for customers to grab. However, boxes behind, the cart. When we asked the employee she just said there were no eggs, and didn't even look! The customers were friendlier then the employees!!!
The Aldi on gunhill road is probably one of Dirtiest stores I’ve seen and I’ve been to a few. Like nothing has ever been sweeped, mopped or shelves wiped down. Food boxes on the floor. The produce section is just as bad I have never bought a good batch of apples. Every single bag no matter which type of apple has been filthy/bruised. The fridges were they keep food also filthy. Just because food is at a lower cost doesn’t mean we should shop in these conditions. I’ve honestly seen family dollar look cleaner. Do better!
Prices are great products n meat goes fast try to get there early
Once you shop at Aldis you wont need to shop anywhere else! Prices cant be beat. I like that all the products are store brand so you know you're getting the best value rather than paying for a brand name. Also the store is smaller than a traditional grocery store that has everything you need so grocery shopping is quicker. Cashiers move quickly so even if there is a long line it moves fast. The only downside is that a lot of items will be out of stock so you just have to get used to making do with what they have in stock cost savings make that worthwhile tradeoff for me and this honestly probably reduces a lot of food waste that more traditional grocery stores have
Good products. The shop is a little messy, so look around for very good products you won't find anywhere else at a very affordable price. I shop there regularly.
Aldi became my love soon after meeting her almost 10 years ago. Prices are always right. Fruit offerings can sometimes be wrong (much to be desired). She generally treats me right--especially if I get there earlier in the day. Everything is stocked and plentiful. Go later in the evening, and you may wonder if people have been hurricane shopping. 😉
This store got the rating it did because of its cleanliness. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with old rotten watermelons. The entire store was in disarray. It appears as though the Tasmanian devil took a trip around the store. Management really needs to do better at this location. These conditions are unacceptable.
As soon as I walked in, I was overwhelmed by how unkempt this location is. This was my first time visiting an Aldi in the Bronx, and I’m truly disappointed. I’ve shopped at Aldi locations outside the Bronx that are clean, well-organized, and stocked with fresh, appealing food. Unfortunately, this store was the complete opposite.

The meat section—especially the chicken—looked discolored and unappetizing. Products on the shelves appeared to be tossed carelessly rather than neatly stocked. The bread selection had items just days away from expiration. It gave the impression that presentation and freshness simply aren’t a priority here. Please do better.
A friend of mine was raving about Aldi. I had only visited a location in Connecticut (in or near Bridgeport). It is a smaller store so I didn’t get the hype. Found this one recently, very close to the highway and next door to an amazing Dollar Tree. The store was well stocked with a good selection of items. It was a little messy but this was on the weekend. The lines were a little long but they were moving. I will revisit in a weekday. Worth a visit.
Great place for reasonable prices with good quality but please check your bill before leaving. They charge for the same items multiple times. Love coming to this store but last time we had to run out of there. The entire place stinks, it smelled like hot garbage.
Good deals to be found here. We were able to get a shopping cart easily. Staff were able to answer questions efficiently and were kind.

As most Aldi stores are operated, the staff are working the register and restocking shelves in between. They seemed to have at least hang a dozen workers getting the store ready for the next day. Checkout was quick, the site wasn't too crowded.

I'm sure it I came in the morning more items whittle have been replenished. Since it was the end of the week most sale items listed in the weekly circular were low or out of stock.

I like the fact that you can get staples as well as new, interesting finds at the same time.
Because I moved, I haven't been to Aldi in over a year and man, I missed it! Some GREAT scores for me as I work on trimming down and still fantastic prices even in in the face of this insane inflation. Definitely gonna try to start making a trip here once a month to stock up!
