"I love Australia. And even though our food industry is nowhere near as bad as the US, we are getting there! So check out these non-profits and help reverse the downward spiral, before it's too late"
I haven't eaten meat for 17 years now (wow does that make me sound old!) but i don't believe it's the right choice for everyone. If you do choose to eat meat i can't stress enough how important it is to know where it comes from and how it was raised. All animals deserve to live a cruelty free life. They breathe and they feel. Just like us.
The Red Cross' Good Start Breakfast Club offers children a chance to eat breakfast, something so many of us take for granted. Donate food or commit to getting up a little earlier one day a week to volunteer. It's a great way for everyone to start their day.
