"I start most of my days with a green smoothie and on the days that i don't, i end up having one at some point during the day anyway! I used to drink a lot of green juice but i've switched to smoothies now as i feel like you're getting the whole fruit and vegetables this way, rather than just the "pressed" version.
Not that i am against green juices, they are a much better alternative to most drinks out there. Just be careful when choosing pre-made juice. Make sure it is mainly veg and not too much fruit as otherwise they end up being super sugary and defeat the purpose of a green juice!"
1/2 fresh mango (or 1/4 cup of frozen)
1 huge handful spinach
1 tbsp hemp seeds
small handful cilantro
small cube ginger, peeled (up to you how much you put in)
small piece of jalepeno, seeds removed (again, up to you how spicy you like it!)
about 1 - 1 1/2 cups coconut water
- Throw everything into a blender and blend until smooth!
- It's a pretty chunky smoothie so if you prefer it to be more liquid, just add more coconut water.
